Abstract

This service to the community is motivated by observations that show students' lack of interest and enthusiasm for learning during the learning process. There are several things that influence students' interest and enthusiasm to decrease, including less effective learning models and methods and a lack of approach or attention given by educators during the learning process. The learning process should be able to encourage students to always be active in interaction and communication between educators and other students so that the learning process can run effectively. There are several goals to be achieved in this service, including increasing the learning motivation of class II students at SDN 28 Mataram through accompanying small group discussions and it is hoped that these students can always be active in the learning process. The method used in this service is the service learning method with three stages, namely; planning stage, implementation stage, and reflection stage. The results of the mentoring show that the implementation of activities from the initial stage to the final stage went well, students began to be interested in participating in the learning process and showed an attitude of confidence, enthusiasm and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Dance is an effective art form for increasing students' creativity. Creativity in dance is an educational tool that is useful for expressing emotions and expressions in creativity. This service activity is carried out in class V or high class using methods in the form of observing, trying and practicing. This method is the process of students understanding the dance movements taught by the teacher or educator. In the process of implementing service activities, there are 3 stages that must be carried out, namely the planning/preparation stage, the implementation stage and the reflection stage. The creative dance movement training activity that was carried out included 5 students who took part in the activity from start to finish. The training was carried out in three meetings. The training activities went according to expectations and objectives and received a good and positive response from the entire school community.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar sangat penting dalam memberikan semangat kepada siswa serta berperan dalam membimbing perilaku belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media cerita bergambar (komik) materi mengenal tubuh tumbuhan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 35 Cakranegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN 35 Cakranegara, yang terdiri dari 19 siswa dan 1 guru sedangkan objek pada penelitian ini adalah media cerita bergambar (komik). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil kevalidan media cerita bergambar (komik) hasil uji validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase 88% kategori sangat valid dan hasil uji validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase 91,81% kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan pada respon siswa uji coba kelompok kesil memperoleh persentase 89% kategori sangat praktis, uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh persentase 90,81% kategori sangat praktis dan respon guru memperoleh persentase 88% kategori sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media cerita bergambar (komik) dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk materi mengenal tubuh tumbuhan yang dapat meningkat motivasi belajar siswa.
