Abstract

This study examines the use of feminist language in the film Barbie and the Three Musketeers (2009) from a sociolinguistic perspective. The film raises the theme of women's empowerment through the main character, Corinne, who struggles to prove that women can also be knights. In this context, the film utilizes dialogue and narrative to challenge gender stereotypes and depict solidarity between women in achieving common goals. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a note-taking technique in collecting data from conversations in the film. The results of the analysis show that the language used in the film reflects feminist values, including gender equality, courage, and cooperation between women. In addition, the film also successfully breaks down social barriers that hinder women and inspires viewers, especially the younger generation, to fight against norms that limit their potential. This study suggests the need to develop media content that supports women's empowerment to form a more inclusive and equal perception in society.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the moral values ​​contained in the lyrics of the song "For Women Who Are in a Hug" by Payung Teduh using a literary sociology approach. This song was chosen because the lyrics are full of meaning and describe the deep emotional relationship between the male and female characters. Through qualitative analysis, it was found that this song contains the values ​​of affection and sincere love, emotional honesty, simplicity, gratitude, and respect for women. These values ​​not only reflect healthy personal relationships, but also reflect the social conditions of modern society which is experiencing a crisis of emotional closeness due to the dominance of materialistic lifestyles. The results of this study show that song lyrics as part of popular literary works can be an effective medium in conveying moral and social messages in a subtle but profound manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab keterlambatan pembayaran Tambahan Penghasilan Pegawai (TPP) di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlambatan pembayaran TPP bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di Kota Padang disebabkan karena adanya proses kenaikan TPP yang memerlukan persetujuan dari Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri). Persetujuan ini memakan waktu karena menunggu antrean pengajuan dari daerah lain.
