Abstract

The relocation of the country's capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan as an effort to equalize the economy has reaped pros and cons from various groups. Several experts and LSM assess that the development of the National Capital City (IKN) infrastructure will have a negative impact on local communities and the existing ecosystem. However, in order to ward off these concerns, the government has formulated Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the National Capital which explains that the IKN construction principle is 100% environmentally friendly construction for all its buildings, both residential and commercial buildings, and there will also be the application of appropriate resource practices. efficient and low carbon. The Al-Qur'an, which contains a set of values and guidelines for pursuing the path of improvement (QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 185), also does not forget to explain ecological principles -albeit cursorily-, as basically the expanse of the earth and everything created in it by Allah swt. use it to gain benefits from it and fulfill human needs (QS. Al-Hijr [15]: 19-20). This research tries to explain the ecological values and principles contained in the Al-Qur'an, so it is hoped that this research can also provide input in the context of developing IKN infrastructure, so that in the development process it does not violate the values and guidelines of ecological signs contained therein. This research uses the maudhu'i (thematic) interpretation method. The research results show that development can be said to be in harmony with the spirit of the Koran when in the process and even after construction it does not threaten the survival of animals, also protects the preservation of plants, maintains cleanliness and does not cause environmental pollution.

Abstract

Insān are the most dominant creatures on earth. Philosophy and science have used various methods to understand him, but he is only able to know certain aspects of the person, he does not know the whole person, even most of the questions asked by those who study the insān -to themselves- still remain unanswered. Therefore, one of the ways to know who the human is to refer to divine revelation so that we can find the answers. For this reason, this study aims to find out about the insān as well as its characteristics from the perspective of the Koran. This research uses the mauḍū'ī (thematic) tafsir method. The results show that what is meant by insan in the Koran is a human being with all his totality, body and soul. The Koran mentions many characteristics of insan -from positive to negative-, and these characteristics can be classified into two: Inborn (fiṭrī) and acquired (muktasab). The innate characters (fiṭrī) described by the Quran are: Weak, hasty, fond of arguing and disputing, miserly, restless and complaining, unjust and ignorant, transgressing limits, very insubordinate, happy, boast. As for the acquired character (muktasab) which is pursued by the insān himself, among others: Kufr, disobedience, quarrel, despair, and hopelessness.

Abstract

Abstract (in English) This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 56 studies (2020–2026) on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLM) in the domain of Islamic family law. Following the PRISMA protocol, this study maps application trends, analyzes epistemological limitations, and identifies key ethical challenges in the utilization of AI technology for the interpretation, extraction, and automation of Islamic family law covering the fields of marriage, divorce, inheritance, and childcare (hadhanah). The results of the analysis showed a significant growth in publications of 214% during the study period, with a predominantly focus on inheritance law (41.1%) and the development of Islamic-specific domain-specific LLMs (28.6%). Three critical epistemological limitations are identified, (1) the desacralization of fiqh knowledge through algorithmic reduction, (2) the inability of LLMs to authentically replicate the methodology of ushul fiqh, and (3) incompatibility with the principles of Maqāṣid al-Sharī'ah. Five key ethical challenges were found to include Islamophobic algorithmic bias, the risk of doctrinal misinformation, data privacy threats, the erosion of religious authority, and over-reliance on AI-based decision-making. The novelty of this research lies in the offering of an integrative evaluation framework of Ushul-AI that synergizes the methodology of ushul fiqh with the principles of contemporary LLM evaluation. Research implications include recommendations for the development of labeled Islamic law corpus, AI-Islamic ethical audit standards, and scholar-centered Human-AI collaboration models for Islamic family law contexts.
