Abstract

This research aims to explore the development strategy of the Dieng tourism area based on local wisdom, with a specific focus on the Dieng Culture Festival. The study employs a qualitative approach to delve into the perspectives of the local community and to gain an in-depth understanding of the underlying local wisdom. Through a combination of observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, data were collected from various stakeholders including local residents, tourism practitioners, governmental authorities, academics, and participants of the Dieng Culture Festival. The research begins with a comprehensive literature review on local wisdom, sustainable tourism development, cultural event tourism, community participation, and socio-cultural-economic impacts. Findings reveal intricate connections between local wisdom, the Dieng Culture Festival, and the overall development of the tourism area. Furthermore, the study evaluates the economic, social, and cultural impacts of the festival on the local community and the region. Based on the analysis, a set of development strategies is formulated, integrating the research outcomes with theoretical frameworks. The strategies emphasize collaboration among local communities, governmental bodies, and tourism stakeholders. Validation of the strategies is conducted through focused group discussions involving relevant parties. The research concludes with recommendations for implementing the proposed strategies and underlines the importance of continuous evaluation and refinement based on evolving circumstances.Keywords: Development Strategy; Tourism; Culture; Local Wisdom

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman pelanggan dalam mencapai kepuasan pada kuliner nasi campur Bali di Denpasar menggunakan pendekatan analisis naratif. Melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 20 pelanggan dari 5 warung nasi campur Bali terpilih, penelitian ini mengungkapkan lima tema utama yang membentuk pengalaman dan kepuasan pelanggan: autentisitas dan keaslian rasa, suasana dan atmosfer warung, interaksi sosial dan budaya, nilai dan harga, serta nostalgia dan kenangan personal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman menikmati nasi campur Bali merupakan fenomena multidimensi yang melibatkan aspek sensorik, emosional, kultural, dan temporal. Temuan ini menegaskan peran penting kuliner tradisional sebagai medium pelestarian warisan budaya dan memberikan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku usaha kuliner dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang dinamika kepuasan pelanggan dalam konteks kuliner tradisional.Kata Kunci: Nasi Campur Bali; Pengalaman Pelanggan; Kepuasan Pelanggan; Analisis Naratif; Kuliner TradisionalAbstrakThis research explores customer experiences in achieving satisfaction with Balinese mixed rice culinary delights in Denpasar using a narrative analysis approach. Through in-depth interviews with 20 customers from 5 selected Balinese mixed rice stalls, this research revealed five main themes that shape customer experience and satisfaction: authenticity and authenticity of taste, atmosphere and atmosphere of the stall, social and cultural interactions, value and price, and nostalgia and memories personal. The research results show that the experience of enjoying Balinese mixed rice is a multidimensional phenomenon involving sensory, emotional, cultural and temporal aspects. These findings emphasize the important role of traditional culinary delights as a medium for preserving cultural heritage and provide practical implications for culinary entrepreneurs in improving customer experience. Abstract

AbstractSadranan Beach is one of the marine tourism destinations in Gunungkidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta by utilizing the coastal and marine nature as its main activities. Sadranan Beach offers marine tourism attractions in the form of small waves, white sand, snorkeling, canoeing, camping ground and sunset. The author conducted direct research at Sadranan Beach on October 23, 2022 with the aim of finding out the strategies carried out by Sadranan Beach in developing and managing tourism potential so that the sustainability of marine tourism at Sadranan Beach continues. The writing of this research aims to determine the potential, development efforts and role of government, industry, and society in Sadranan Beach. This research is to use qualitative methods using data collection techniques based on observation, interviews, documentation, and case studies. From the research results it can be seen that contributions from the government, industry and society can help increase the potential of Sadranan Beach. The importance of managing tourist objects in order to create conditions that are safe and comfortable. Availability of attractions, accessibility, amenities, and adequate supporting facilities to meet the needs of tourist activities in traveling. Creativity and innovation in promoting tourist attractions are also urgently needed to expand the market so as to attract tourists to visit.AbstrakPantai Sadranan merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata bahari di Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan memanfaatkan alam pesisir maupun laut sebagai aktivitas utamanya. Pantai Sadranan menyuguhkan daya tarik wisata bahari berupa ombak kecil, pasir putih, snorkeling, prau kano, camping ground dan sunset. Penulis melakukan penelitian langsung di Pantai Sadranan pada tanggal 23 Oktober 2022 dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan Pantai Sadranan dalam mengembangkan dan mengelola potensi wisata agar keberlanjutan wisata bahari di Pantai Sadranan tetap terlaksana. Penulisan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi, upaya pengembangan dan peran pemerintah, industri, dan masyarakat di Pantai Sadranan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kasus. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kontribusi dari pemerintah, industri, dan masyarakat dapat membantu meningkatkan potensi Pantai Sadranan. Pentingnya pengelolaan objek wisata agar tercipta kondisi yang aman dan nyaman. Ketersediaan atraksi, aksesibilitas, amenitas, dan fasilitas pendukung yang memadai agar tercukupinya kebutuhan kegiatan wisatawan dalam berwisata. Kreativitas dan inovasi dalam mempromosikan tempat wisata juga sangat dibutuhkan untuk memperluas pasar sehingga dapat menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung.
