Abstract

Tourism is one of the most popular destinations for tourists today, one of the tourist objects and destinations is in Kampar Regency. Kampar Regency has great potential in the tourism sector. Both in the form of historical heritage such as the Muara Takus Temple, the Koto Panjang Hydroelectric Reservoir, the Jami Mosque in Kampar District, and many other tourist attractions that are quite interesting to visit. The aim of the research is to design and create a tourism information system for Kampar Regency to make it easier for tourists to access information on tourist attractions in Kampar Regency. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data is collected from interviews, field notes, documents and so on, then described and analyzed using triangulation so that it can provide clarity on reality. The research results show that with this system, it is easier for tourists to find information on tourist attractions, especially in Kampar Regency. The system provides photos of tourist information and its location, so that tourists get an idea of the profile of the tourist spot they are going to. It is hoped that this web-based tourism information system will make it easier for the public to obtain information about the locations of tourist attractions in Kampar Regency. The programming language used is the PHP Framework Laravel and MySQL as the database storage medium.

Abstract

Temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza Roxb.) is a native Indonesian medicinal plant that has a lot of curcuminoids with strong pharmacological activity. However, traditional extraction procedures don't always work well or provide good quality extracts. The goal of this research is to find the best way to get curcuminoids out of temulawak utilizing ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) and response surface methodology (RSM). The Box-Behnken Design was used to optimize the process with three independent variables: ultrasonic power (200–400 W), extraction duration (20–60 minutes), and the ratio of material to solvent (1:15–1:35 g/mL). We used validated HPLC to look at curcuminoids, the DPPH technique to measure antioxidant activity, and a second-order polynomial model to look at the data. The mathematical model shows a good fit (R² = 0.9847), with all variables having a significant impact on the curcuminoid yield. The best results were achieved with an ultrasonic power of 354 W, an extraction time of 52 minutes, and a material to solvent ratio of 1:22 g/mL, leading to a total curcuminoid yield of 23.4±0.6 mg/g of simplicia and an antioxidant activity IC₅₀ of 31.2±1.1 μg/mL. The enhanced UAE process gave 8.4 times more yield than maceration and took 28 times less time to extract. The improved UAE is a quick and long-lasting way to get curcuminoids out of temulawak with a high yield and high-quality extract. This study gives scientists the information they need to create turmeric extraction technologies on an industrial scale to help Indonesia's pharmaceutical and nutraceutical businesses.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low creative thinking ability of class III students. This research aims to improve the creative thinking abilities of class III Salafiyah Ula Ibnu Jarir Bangkinang students. This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects in this research were 1 teacher and 18 students, while the object of this research was a mind mapping method based on local wisdom to improve elementary school students' creative thinking abilities. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of research carried out in 2 cycles, the percentage results obtained in cycle I meeting 1 were 28%, cycle I meeting 2 was 33%, and in cycle II meeting 1 was 44%, cycle II meeting 2 was 72%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the mind mapping method based on local wisdom can improve the creative thinking abilities of class III Salafiyah Ula Ibnu Jarir Bangkinang students.
