Abstract

Expansion of infrastructure through the allocation of village funds to improve urban services is increasingly happening in all regions. Every year, the allocation of village funds through the APBN continues to increase. Allocation of village funds needs to be supported by proper preparation of proposals, including files that need to be completed. The understanding of village officials in the initial situation analysis shows that there is a lack of understanding in planning infrastructure activities, so there is a need for increased skills in reading and understanding technical drawings, making drawings with AutoCAD software tools, and calculating the volume of work. The fulfillment of technical drawings for village infrastructure work shows an increase in the capacity of Puloniti village officials in planning technical drawings using AutoCAD, complete with work volume calculations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan laju korosi material SS 304 dan SS316 dengan variasi waktu perendaman. Baja tahan karat atau stainless steel adalah bahan yang memiliki banyak keunggulan terutama tahan terhadap korosi. Baja tahan karat (Stainless Steel) SS 304 dan SS 316 merupakan salah satu material yang tahan terhadap korosi. Terdapat 5 variasi waktu perendaman material terhadap H2SO4, yaitu 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 jam. Setelah masa perendaman, maka material akan ditimbang untuk melihat berapa massa yang telah hilang selama perendaman tersebut. Pada SS 304 kehilangan massa terendah pada saat perendaman 12 jam yaitu sebesar 0,2 gram. Sedangkan tertinggi pada 48 dan 60 jam yang sama sama 0,5 gram. Sedangkan untuk SS 316 kehilangan massa terendah pada saat perendaman 12 jam yaitu sebesar 0,1 gram. Sedangkan tertinggi pada 60 jam yang sebesar 0,4 gram

Abstract

The utilization of renewable energy is experiencing significant growth, with wind turbines emerging as a key solution for generating environmentally friendly electricity. However, the efficiency of wind turbines is highly dependent on their operational parameters, such as wind speed, blade size, angular velocity, and torque. This research aims to optimize the operational parameters of small-scale wind turbines using an XGBoost-based Machine Learning model and an L-BFGS-B algorithm-based optimization method. A simulation dataset was generated based on the physical equations of wind turbine power and a MATLAB Simulink model, incorporating added noise to approximate real-world conditions. The XGBoost model was trained to predict the turbine's output power based on its operational parameters. Subsequently, an optimization method was employed to identify the parameter combination that yields maximum power. The experimental results demonstrate that the model exhibits strong performance, characterized by a low Mean Squared Error (MSE) and a high R-squared score. The optimization process successfully achieved a significant increase in power output compared to the initial configuration. Through this approach, wind turbine systems can operate more efficiently and generate optimal electrical power. This study contributes to the advancement of artificial intelligence-based optimization strategies for renewable energy systems.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates contributed the most to the percentage of TPT (Open Unemployment Rate) as of August 2022 of 5.86% or 8.42 million people. The importance of increasing the involvement of partners in the world of work in designing and managing learning in vocational schools and developing the potential of students' abilities and expertise that are in line with opportunities to work in the world of work and/or entrepreneurship can reduce the TPT score. The results of direct observations at schools and confirmed based on the provisions of BSKAP 033/H/KR/2022, the learning achievements of students have not achieved their competencies in either phase E or F, namely regarding the ability to model 3D pictorial projections using BIM technology. The purpose of this PKM in the field of BIM applications is to improve students' skills in applying Building Information Modeling in achieving 3D modeling abilities and competencies. The empowerment method applied is in the form of training and mentoring of BIM applications in 3D modeling of construction buildings to improve the skills of partners related to drawing 3D building structures with BIM technology integrated with software. From the results of the initial and final assessment analysis, it was found that there was an increase in partner skills related to drawing 3D building structures with BIM technology integrated with software of ≥ 70% based on the performance of the 3D modeling simulation that was built after participating in the training as well as an increase in skills in creating informative construction design visualizations with software of ≥ 70%.

Abstract

The construction industry is one of the fields where the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is still not optimal, as evidenced by the still high number of work accidents. Efforts to increase this awareness can be done early on through education and training, one of which is through Vocational High Schools (SMK). In general, students are still not aware of the possibility of work accidents. Providing K3 training from an early age can help students develop the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors that will be needed in the workplace later. The purpose of this program is to provide knowledge and skills to students of SMKN 1 Kemlagi, Mojokerto Regency regarding the basics of construction K3. The methods used to educate students through K3 learning include lectures and socialization, as well as evaluation through pre- and post-tests. Overall, K3 education activities are able to improve the understanding of students in the Building Design Modeling and Information Department of all topics discussed, including risk control strategies, preventing and dealing with fires in the work area, recognizing personal protective equipment.
