Abstract

This study applies the Black-Scholes method to calculate rice commodity insurance premiums based on rainfall indexes. By considering rainfall fluctuations as the primary risk in rice production, the Black-Scholes method provides a more accurate and efficient estimation of insurance premiums. The research involves historical rainfall data collection and statistical analysis, resulting in realistic premium pricing. This innovative approach enhances risk management and sustainability in the rice commodity sector, benefiting stakeholders such as insurance companies and farmers. Future research should explore additional factors, including agricultural technology and government policies, for further refinement of premium calculation models.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu sektor penggerak ekonomi di Indonesia. Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin massif mendorong seluruh aspek untuk menggunakan teknologi informasi. Pencatatan keuangan terdigitalisasi dinilai lebih efektif dan efisien dalam mendorong pengelolaan keuangan daripada manual. Namun, salah satu kekurangan pada pelaku UMKM yaitu lemahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai pencatatan dan penyusunan laporan keuangan. Dengan demikian, pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan pencatatan keuangan pada kelompok penggerak UMKM di Desa Durbuk, Kecamatan Pademawu, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan hibah pengabdian Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan kegiatan KKNT (Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik) yang dilaksanakan selama bulan Agustus hingga November 2023. Pendampingan pencatatan keuangan menggunakan aplikasi “catatan keuangan” dilakukan secara intensif melibatkan seluruh penggerak UMKM yang ada di desa Durbuk, Kecamatan Pademawu, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Pendampingan dilaksanakan dengan melalui tahapan terintegrasi dan mandiri. Pendampingan terintegrasi dilaksanakan melalui pemberian literasi pencatatan keuangan terdigitalisasi. Pendampingan mandiri dan intensif dilakukan pada masing-masing UMKM untuk menggunakan aplikasi catatan keuangan. Selama kurun waktu 3 bulan UMKM mampu melakukan pencatatan keuangan secara mandiri. Penggerak UMKM menguasai seluruh fitur pada aplikasi dan mampu menginterpretasikan hasil pencatatan keuangan yang dihasilkan. Penggunaan aplikasi pencatatan keuangan membantu UMKM mengetahui prediksi peningkatan pengeluaran atau penerimaan yang kurang stabil sehingga dapat melakukan pengendalian lebih awal.

Abstract

This study is motivated by unpredictable demand fluctuations at CV Kopi Biji Palembang, which often result in the risk of both overstock and stockout. The research aims to improve inventory management efficiency through the application of the ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) model for coffee demand forecasting. This quantitative study utilizes six months of historical demand and inventory data, with steps including parameter identification (p,d,q), stationarity testing, and model evaluation using AIC, BIC, and MAPE. The results show that the ARIMA (1,1,1) model provides highly accurate predictions with a MAPE of 0.65%, effectively reducing overstock and stockout risks, lowering storage costs, and supporting more precise procurement planning. This study recommends integrating ARIMA forecasting results with EOQ and safety stock calculations to optimize inventory decision-making.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has led to increased use of digital media by the community, which has not been accompanied by adequate understanding of digital data security. This condition makes the community vulnerable to various cybercrime threats such as online fraud, personal data theft, phishing, and the spread of hoaxes. This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy and awareness of residents of Taman Kebayoran Housing Area RW 013, Setiamekar Village, Bekasi Regency, regarding the importance of digital data security through counseling and training programs. The implementation methods include initial socialization, face to face counseling, digital data security training, and the development of a Housing Profile Website as an official and verified information medium. The results show an increase in community understanding of types of cyber threats, methods to identify false information, and preventive measures against digital fraud. In addition, the existence of the housing profile website is considered effective in supporting information transparency and strengthening communication between community administrators and residents. The originality of this activity lies in the integration of community based cybersecurity education with the development of a local digital platform that functions as a literacy and official information medium. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable community service model in building a safe and responsible digital ecosystem at the neighborhood level.
