Abstract

This research was conducted because there is no availability of learning materials that are able to support the needs of students in improving their understanding and skills of Arabic, especially in  mahārah kalām . The research method used is library research with primary data in the form of Arabic teaching materials and secondary data in the form of relevant scientific articles. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Arabic language textbooks for class IX for junior high schools published by KEMENAG in 2020 meet the eligibility standards of books according to the BSNP. And in the CEFR realm, the Arabic textbook contains language proficiency levels at A2 and B1 in mahārah kalām. The results of this research can add to teachers’ insight regarding the availability of learning media that is appropriate to the learning level students in mahārah kalām.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the game "Gudang Kata'' and to determine the increase in students' vocabulary mastery towards the use of this game in learning Arabic. This research is the R&D model research with six stages, namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, product revision, design validation, and product trials. This product was reviewed by supervising lecturers, material experts, and media experts and responded to by 30 Classes. Product quality results are determined by calculating the average score of the quantitative data and then describing the qualitative data from the questionnaire results. As for the test of increasing students' vocabulary mastery, it is obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest and gains normality. The results of this development research game, "Gudang Kata," received a percentage from material experts for the suitability of the material, namely 100% in the "Very Good" category. According to media experts, the quality of the media obtained a percentage of 88.57% in the "Very Good" category. At the same time, the results of the responses of 30 students got a rate of 85.19% in the "Very Good" class. Then, the results of the analysis test for increasing students' Arabic vocabulary mastery increased by 0.7 in the "High'' category based on the acquisition of an average pretest score of 86.33 and an average posttest of 96.00.

Abstract

This research aimed to create an assessment innovation in the form of a cognitive diagnostic assessment that is in accordance with the language skills that should be possessed by class XII of high school students. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of this study show that cognitive diagnostic assessment in Mahārah istimā’ consists of 10 questions. 2 questions are taken from the subject matter that has been studied in the two classes below in semester 2. 6 questions are from the subject matter in 1 class below in semesters 1 and 2. And 2 questions are from the subject matter to be studied. Types of tests are divided into objective and subjective tests. The objective test used is a multiple-choice, true-false test, and completes a brief description of the various questions heard by the teaching teacher. Meanwhile, the subjective test used is to complete the answers to the questions heard both in the form of discourse and dialogue in long descriptions.
