Abstract

Background: Multisensory stimulation in the elderly helps train cognitive function and motor skills by incorporating elements that stimulate their senses. The application of a multisensory room caters to sensory stimulation identified for individuals experiencing cognitive decline from moderate to severe and those with neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's, Dementia, and Alzheimer's. Objective: This study aimed to assess needs to develop a multisensory room design tailored with a Javanese cultural approach for the older adults. Methods: A plan for a multisensory room was made involving experts in gerontic nursing, design, and interior space design. Qualitative data collection utilized the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) technique. FGD was employed to comprehend factors associated with the necessity of a therapeutic room for the elderly, especially concerning the functionality of the multisensory space. Additionally, the FGD sought to identify Javanese cultural elements applicable to the room concept. Participants in the FGD included geriatric nurses, representatives from Alzheimer's Indonesia, Javanese cultural experts, architects, and Health Service members. The analysis of FGD results was conducted using the Colaizzi method. This involved creating transcripts from the FGD, multiple readings of the transcripts, extracting significant statements, validation with participants, and formulating meaningful themes, sub-themes, and categories. The themes identified during the data analysis were integrated and presented as research outcomes. Results: Two themes emerged from the analysis: aspects that need to be considered when creating a multisensory room and the elements in a multisensory room. Conclusion: By addressing the demand for innovative elderly health services and collaborating with stakeholders in developing spatial models, this study anticipates the creation of applicable and beneficial space designs. This endeavor aims to validate the effectiveness of the applied concepts in line with evolving health needs, particularly concerning the elderly population.

Abstract

Rice drying in Indonesia generally still uses conventional methods by utilizing the heat of sunlight, but weather changes become a problem in the drying process, so that the rice drying process is hampered. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to develop a hybrid solar dryer and solar panel rice drying system. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a design in the form of a cabinet dryer type drying room with a fairly simple design and installation of equipment. Flow simulations were carried out using Autodesk Simulation software, namely Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD). Three trials were carried out. In trial 1, there was a decrease in humidity of 30%, in trial 2, there was a decrease in humidity of 20% and in trial 3, there was a decrease in humidity of 51% percent. In the third trial, the temperature after drying reached 59.1 ° C, much higher than the first (34.4 ° C) and second (44.9 ° C) trials. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the process of drying rice using a hybrid solar dryer and solar panels with a drying duration of 2-3 hours with a combination of solar energy and solar panels can achieve optimal results. Sufficient time and high temperatures play an important role in reducing humidity. The level of efficiency of drying rice using a hybrid solar dryer and solar panels has been proven to be able to reduce rice humidity significantly, with the highest humidity reduction achieved in the third trial of 51% which shows that this drying system is effective in reducing water content in rice.

Abstract

Continuing against the phenomenon of contract marriages and formulating policies that support tourism sustainability. This monitoring may involve collaboration with various parties, including authorities, public figures, and local tourists. The implementation of policies that support the sustainability of tourism at the Bogor Summit has some implications. First, tourism sustainability can enhance the image of a destination as a safe and quality place. It can attract travelers who are looking for a positive travel experience and reduce the negative impact of the contract marriage phenomenon. Moreover, policies supporting public education about contractual marriage risks can help mitigate this practice. Increased public awareness can prevent contractual marriages and promote values that are consistent with applicable social and legal norms. Tourism development focusing on cultural and natural wealth can also provide attractive alternatives for tourists. By attracting tourists to natural and cultural attractions, local governments can reduce reliance on contractual marriage practices as a major attraction. Overall, the implementation of policies that focus on tourism sustainability can have a long-term positive impact. It can not only boost the local economy through sustainable tourism but also strengthen the social and cultural integrity of the Bogor Puncak community. Bogor Puncak, as a popular tourist destination, faces serious challenges related to the phenomenon of contract marriages. Although these practices provide temporary economic contributions, their negative impact on the social, moral, and image aspects of tourism cannot be ignored. The authorities need to take effective action to address the negative impact. The study provides an in-depth overview of the phenomenon of contract marriage in Bogor Puncak, considering a wide range of perspectives, ranging from tourism, and legal, to social aspects. The study's results identify the positive and negative impact of contractual marriage, its prevalence, trends, and legal perspective in Indonesia. The proposed policy recommendations and implications aim to address the negative impact of contract marriages and support the sustainability of tourism in Bogor Summit. Public education, clear regulations, and sustainable tourism development are key steps that the authorities can take. By implementing a policy focused on tourism sustainability, it is expected that Bogor Puncak will retain its image as an attractive and quality destination, as well as provide sustainable economic benefits to local communities.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi telah mendorong perubahan perilaku belanja konsumen menuju cara yang lebih praktis, dengane-commerce menjadi pilihan utama baik di tingkat global maupun di Indonesia. Kondisi ini memicu persaingan antarplatform e-commerce di Indonesia dalam menyediakan layanan dan penawaran terbaik bagi konsumen melalui inovasiberkelanjutan. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah penerapan gamifikasi dalam aplikasi, di mana elemen-elemen desaingame diadaptasi ke dalam konteks non-game, yakni e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimanadinamika gamifikasi dapat memengaruhi enjoyment konsumen, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada niat pembelianonline. Variabel yang digunakan mencakup empat aspek gamifikasi (autonomy, rewards, absorption, competition),enjoyment, dan niat pembelian online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisisdeskriptif dan structural equation modeling (SEM) untuk menganalisis data. Pengujian hipotesis pada model penelitiandilakukan menggunakan SmartPLS untuk memperkirakan besaran dan arah efek kausal. Penelitian ini menerapkanpendekatan individu terhadap pengguna aplikasi e-commerce Shopee di Kota Bandung yang pernah melakukanpembelian dan bermain game dalam fitur Shopee Games melalui survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masingmasing elemen gamifikasi yaitu Autonomy, Rewards, Absorption berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapEnjoyment. Dan Enjoyment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Online Purchase Intention. Kata Kunci-gamifikasi, e-commerce, autonomy, rewards, absorption, competition, enjoyment, niat pembelianonline.
