Abstract

The purpose of this study is to document and showcase the ways in which MI Ma'arif Sentul Tanggulangin Sidoarjo's school organizations have benefited from human resource management strategies by enhancing their performance in areas such as planning, recruiting, and selection. Observation and interviews are the main methods of data gathering in this qualitative study. Human resource management at MI Ma'arif Sentul is carried out by the head of the department through annual supervision evaluations and the implementation of HR planning programs pertaining to policies for recruiting honorary staff, according to the research. The effectiveness of school organizations is greatly enhanced by schools, which offer salaries and transfers f or personnel.

Abstract

The Field Experience Practice Program (PPL) is a mandatory program carried out by postgraduate students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) study program who receive LPPD scholarships from the East Java provincial government. The PPL program is part of the courses that have been programmed in semester III (three) which are held on the Sunan Giri University Surabaya campus. The theme presented in the PPL is about the Al-Qur'an as a source of Islamic knowledge. This research is a qualitative research to describe the Al-Qur'an which is the holy book of Muslims as the mother of all knowledge. The data sources in this research were PAI postgraduate scholarship students, tutor lecturers, and an audience of undergraduate students. The data in this research are the results of interviews and documentation of the program. The research results show that the PPL program at Sunan Giri University Surabaya in 2023/2024 was carried out for one day. Postgraduate students who want to carry out the PPL program receive directions in the form of material that will be presented to the audience, then they present the theme using a public lecture model according to the predetermined schedule. The findings in this research show that the PPL program provides many benefits for practical students. The theories they learn in college can be implemented well in this PPL. Apart from that, they also gain experience in administration and management which other students do not get.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize Islamic religious education through extracurricular activities Al Banjari at Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman High School in Taman Sidoarjo. The method used is quantitative involving 5 informants, namely 1 school principal, 1 vice principal, 1 Al Banjari teacher, and 2 students. The approach used is descriptive with a phenomenological approach. The Al Banjari extracurricular at Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman High School in Taman Sidoarjo is the focus of the research due to its significant potential in strengthening Islamic religious education within the school environment. Al Banjari activities serve not only as a platform for religious learning but also enrich Islamic culture and traditions. By understanding the experiences and perceptions of the informants, this research aims to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of Al Banjari extracurricular activities in optimizing Islamic religious education at Wachid Hasyim 2 High School in Taman Sidoarjo. The results of this research are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the contribution of Al Banjari in enhancing the understanding of Islam among students. Thus, potential and challenges in implementing Al Banjari activities can be identified, along with providing recommendations for further development. This research makes an important contribution to strengthening Islamic religious education in schools through extracurricular approaches. With a better understanding of the factors influencing the effectiveness of Al Banjari extracurricular activities, it is hoped that improvements and better developments can be made to enhance the quality of Islamic religious education at Wachid Hasyim 2 High School in Taman Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Character education is a very important education and must continue to be strengthened in an institution and society. Through the media of picture story books, character education can be strengthened effectively. The aim of this research is to find out the extent of the effectiveness of picture story books in stimulating the development of early childhood in the Bahagia Surabaya Kindergarten institution, the research method used is the Applied Qualitative method where to stimulate children's development it is done by reading picture story books not only at school but also by parents at home. This research was carried out by interviewing teachers and parents. From several observations it can be found that from several children observed there are indications that some children's development is starting to be stimulated well, thus it can be concluded that picture story books are very effective in stimulating children's development by reading them regularly and continuously both in institutions and continuing in home, however, children also need to continue to be guided and directed to continue to behave according to the desired character.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak-anak di era digital dengan menyadarkan masyarakat akan nilai pendidikan dan memperkuat peran orang tua dalam mendukung proses pendidikan anak-anak. Dalam era di mana teknologi memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pendidikan, baik positif maupun negatif, program ini bertujuan untuk mengubah persepsi masyarakat tentang nilai pendidikan dan memperkuat kesadaran akan peran teknologi sebagai alat pendukung pembelajaran, bukan pengganti pendidik. Melalui sosialisasi di sekolah dan bimbingan belajar gratis yang diselenggarakan oleh siswa KKN, program ini memberikan kesempatan bagi anak-anak untuk lebih memahami nilai pendidikan dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan melibatkan orang tua dan masyarakat secara langsung, program ini berusaha menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung dan memotivasi anak-anak untuk aktif dalam proses belajar mereka. Selain itu, program ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran pemerintah dalam mendidik generasi muda, dengan menyadarkan masyarakat akan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang lebih baik.
