Abstract

Instructional media is a tool that can assist the teaching and learning process, making the conveyed message clearer and ensuring that educational or instructional objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. Learning outcomes are the results given to students as assessments after participating in the learning process by evaluating their knowledge, attitudes, and skills, leading to behavioral changes. Instructional media functions as one of the learning resources for students to receive the messages and information provided by the teacher, enhancing the learning materials and building knowledge for students. The benefits of instructional media are twofold. First, it provides guidance for teachers to achieve the learning objectives, enabling them to present the learning materials systematically and in an engaging manner, thus improving the quality of instruction. Second, it can boost students' motivation and interest in learning, allowing them to think critically and analyze the subject matter presented by the teacher in an enjoyable learning environment. Students can easily grasp the learning materials, resulting in improved learning outcomes. The use of instructional media can enhance students' learning outcomes in several ways: Simplifying the teaching and learning process, making it easy for students to comprehend and understand the lessons; Increasing the efficiency of student learning by aligning it with the learning objectives; Promoting student concentration in learning due to engaging and relevant instructional media; Elevating students' motivation to learn as their interest in the subject matter grows; Offering a comprehensive learning experience, enabling students to gain a practical understanding of the provided materials; and Involving students in the learning process, making them active participants, and providing opportunities for creativity and potential development.

Abstract

Desa Claket, berlokasi di Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur, menyajikan pemandangan menakjubkan dengan keindahan pegunungan yang mengitarinya. Desa Wisata Claket di Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Mojokerto, menunjukkan potensi wisata yang sangat menjanjikan yang tidak dapat diabaikan. Desa ini tidak hanya dikenal sebagai tempat yang menarik secara geografis, tetapi juga memiliki dinamika ekonomi dan sosial yang menarik. Aspek paling krusial dalam pengembangan sektor pariwisata adalah memberdayakan masyarakat setempat untuk mengelola pariwisata secara berkelanjutan. Desa Claket, melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BumDes), memiliki tujuan utama untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan warganya melalui pengembangan berbagai inisiatif usaha. Dengan kolaborasi bersama warga lokal, BumDes Claket melaksanakan sejumlah program dan proyek yang mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi serta memberdayakan masyarakat. Metode yang diterapkan berupa kualitatif sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat yang sebelumnya kurang mengenal kelembagaan di Desa Wisata Claket kini memiliki pemahaman yang signifikan mengenai tata kelola dan kelembagaan pariwisata di Desa Wisata Claket.

Abstract

AbstractWaste has become one of the most crucial environmental issues faced by almost all countries in the world. Improper waste management can cause serious problems in everyday life. Introduction and growing awareness of waste management through waste sorting education should be given and implemented from an early age. The purpose of this activity is to contribute to a holistic local solution to environmental awareness of waste management, especially among elementary school children. Community service activities carried out by the 38th KKN Collaboration group of UIN Gusdur and UIN Saizu were carried out in 3 places, namely SD N 1 Kertijayan, SD N 3 Kertijayan and MIS Kertijayan. The service activities succeeded in raising environmental awareness of waste sorting among elementary school-aged children in Kertijayan Village. Through socialization activities using lecture methods, simulations, demonstrations and mentoring for inorganic waste recycling, it was proven to be capable and effective in improving students' knowledge, attitudes and skills. Students not only understood the concept of waste sorting, but also began to instill it in their daily lives at school. This activity is the first step in building a culture of environmental awareness from an early age, which is expected to make a real contribution to sustainable waste management efforts in the school environment. Keywords: Awareness, waste sorting and  students AbstrakSampah telah menjadi salah satu isu lingkungan yang paling krusial yang dihadapi hampir seluruh negara di dunia. Pengelolaan sampah yang tidak benar dapat menimbulkan masalah yang serius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengenalan dan penumbuhan kesadaran pengelolaan sampah melalui edukasi pemilihan sampah seharusnya diberikan dan diterapkan sejak dini, Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu berkontribusi pada solusi lokal yang holistik terhadap kesadaran lingkungan terhadap pengelolaan sampah terutama pada anak sekolah tingkat dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh kelompok 38 KKN Kolaborasi UIN Gusdur dan UIN Saizu dilakukan pada 3 tempat, yaitu SD N 1 Kertijayan, SD N 3 Kertijayan dan MIS Kertijayan. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan terhadap pemilahan sampah pada anak usia sekolah dasar di Desa Kertijayan. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi  dengan metode ceramah, simulasi, demontrasi dan pendampingan daur ulang sampah anorganik terbukti mampu dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan siswa. Siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep pemilahan sampah, tetapi juga mulai mempraktikkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal membangun budaya peduli lingkungan sejak usia dini yang diharapkan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam upaya pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah. Kata kunci : Kesadaran, pemilahan sampah dan siswa
