Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh fenomena turunnya motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah full day yang bisa menjadi efek domino buruk bagi kemajuan bangsa. Lelahnya para siswa di sekolah sepanjang hari memerlukan solusi agar masalah ini tidak sampai berkelanjutan yang akan mengganggu proses belajar mengajar hingga tidak tercapainya indikator pembelajaran dan standar kompetensi siswa. Peneliti melakukan kajian terhadap solusi dari fenomena ini yaitu terhadap tidur qaylūlah (tidur sejenak jelang zhuhur) yang menjadi sebuah pembelajaran di SDI Makarimul Akhlaq Blimbing Jombang. Studi ini menggunaan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk mendapatkan analisis yang tajam dan mendalam tentang penerapan qaylūlah bagi siswa SD full day. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran qaylūlah mampu mengembalikan dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswi kelas V SDI Makarimul Akhlaq dalam mengaji, muroja’ah hafalan dan melanjutkan pembelajaran hingga tuntas di sekolah maupun di pondok. Kata kunci: qaylūlah, tidur siang, motivasi Abstract: The study was conducted for the background of a decrease of students’ motivation in full day schools for their exhausting of dense school activity which may become a bad domino effect for Indonesia’s development in the future. The students’ exhausting of full school activities in full day schools needs real solutions so the problem can’t last any longer in order not to disrupt their learning process which may lead an unaccomplished learning indicator and students’ competences. The researcher examined qaylūlah, a short nap with 30 minutes duration that is also a learning-process habituation in Makarimul Akhlaq Islamic Elementary School as a solution to the problem. The research used a descriptive qualitative method to get comprehensive and deep analysis of an implementation of qaylūlah for full day school’s students. The researcher concluded that qaylūlah habituation was able to recharge students’ energy so that can elevate their learning motivation which has decreased due to their dense learning activities at school. Learning motivation was been elevated in studying and memorizing al-Quran and also getting up in early morning to start their learning activities.
