<![CDATA[This study examines the application of the adaptive reuse concept to a previously abandoned building that was repurposed into a cigarette shop as a case study. The primary objective of this study is to explore how adaptive reuse strategies can be implemented to revitalize unused buildings and to assess their impacts on economic, social, and environmental aspects. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study of a building that had previously been abandoned and was subsequently converted into a cigarette shop. The findings indicate that adaptive reuse not only provides a solution for utilizing abandoned buildings but also generates additional economic value through enhanced commercial functionality. Furthermore, this concept has a positive environmental impact by reducing the need for new construction, which may cause greater environmental damage. However, the study also identified challenges related to zoning regulations and structural modifications required to accommodate the needs of the new business function. Overall, this study contributes to a broader understanding of the potential of adaptive reuse as a solution for urban regeneration while simultaneously creating opportunities for sustainable business development.]]>
