Abstract

This study explores the conversational implicature that represents verbal bullying in the movie Budi Pekerti directed by Wregas Bhanuteja as well as describes its implication in Indonesian language learning in high school. The main purpose of this research is to comprehensively describe the types of implicature contained in the bullying dialog and examine its relevance in learning. This research applies a qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data analyzed were dialogues between characters containing verbal bullying, which were collected through listening and note-taking techniques. The research findings show that there is a variety of implicatures, both conventional and unconventional, in the movie conversations. The dominance of unconventional implicatures indicates the significance of context in interpreting the meaning of bullying. This shows the relevance of the sociocultural context regarding the phenomenon of bullying that can be implied in Indonesian language learning in the form of LKPD on drama appreciation in class XI senior high school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of deviation and language style in the poem Maskumambang by W.S.  Rendra. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The technique used in data collection is a literature study technique, namely by collecting various library sources such as poems by W.S.  Rendra and supporting libraries in the form of theories about deviation forms and language styles in literary works in the form of poetry. Techniques in analyzing data are reading, recording, identifying, classifying, and inferring. The results of the research obtained in this study are the form of deviation and language style. In general, the form of deviation has a role that can cause mysterious effects so that the Maskumambang poem by W.S.  Rendra has a high aesthetic value. The figurative language found in Maskumambang's poetry contains metaphor, personification, hyperbole, allegory and simile.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk penyimpangan dan gaya bahasa dalam puisi Maskumambang karya W.S.  Rendra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik studi kepustakaan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan berbagai sumber pustaka seperti puisi karya W.S.  Rendra dan pustaka pendukung berupa teori-teori tentang bentuk-bentuk penyimpangan dan gaya bahasa pada karya sastra berbentuk puisi. Teknik dalam menganalisis data adalah membaca, mencatat, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa penyimpangan dan gaya berbahasa. Secara umum bentuk penyimpangan mempunyai peranan yang dapat menimbulkan efek misterius sehingga puisi Maskumambang karya W.S.  Rendra mempunyai nilai estetis yang tinggi. Bahasa kiasan yang terdapat pada puisi Maskumambang mengandung metafora, personifikasi, hiperbola, alegori dan simile.
