Abstract

Isu tentang Bali krisis sampah plastik menjadi kekhawatiran bagi kita semua. Hampir seluruh masyarakat turut serta berupaya untuk ikut andil dalam penanggulangannya. Salah satunya dengan melakukan pengelolaan sampah berupa daur ulang yang merupakan salah satu bagian dari konsep 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) dalam pengelolaan sampah. Daur ulang terhadap sampah domestik yang dihasilkan ini juga menjadi program dari SMA Negeri 2 Abiansemal dan menjadi salah satu fokus program yang dimotori oleh OSIS SMA Negeri 2 Abiansemal. Atas urgensi untuk realisasi program tersebut maka SMA Negeri 2 Abiansemal bekerjasama dengan tim pengabdian untuk mengadakan workshop daur ulang sampah menjadi produk souvenir yang memiliki nilai seni bagi siswa – siswi di sekolah tersebut. Tema Kehidupan Laut dalam workshop pembuatan souvenir daur ulang ini dimaksudkan sebagai pemantik bagi siswa – siswi agar lebih menumbuhkan kepedulian terhadap ekosistem kehidupan di laut dan kelestarian laut. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan workshop ini adalah menggunakan metode eksploratif learning by doing dan demonstratif. Hasil workshop disampaikan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Workshop pembuatan souvenir daur ulang ini tidak hanya menjawab kebutuhan SMA Negeri 2 Abiansemal untuk merealisasikan program pengelolaan sampah domestiknya, namun juga meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam bidang seni rupa dengan dapat mewujudkan produk souvenir bernilai seni. Kehidupan laut yang menjadi tema workshop membuat siswa lebih tertarik untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk biota laut seperti ikan, kerang, terumbu karang, dsb. Mereka menyadari bahwa menjaga lingkungan sekitar juga merupakan kontribusi untuk menjaga kelestarian laut. Dampak lain dari program ini adalah terwujudnya inisiasi pembentukan Klub Recycle di SMA Negeri 2 Abiansemal.

Abstract

This independent study TA thesis raised the theme of women's body movements as a source of inspiration for the creation of painting, starting from an idea about the illustration of women's body movements which always have its own meaning in each of its beautiful forms. From this, it gives rise to the urge to present a visualization of female body movements by combining certain techniques and references to achieve the desired goals and meanings. The problem faced is how to visually process women's body movements to represent ideas so that the embodiment of the work looks attractive. The purpose and benefits are to provide a new reflection and elevate the existence of women's body movements which are full of use in various lessons for everyone. To answer what is the purpose of this work, the method of creation uses exploration, improvisation, and formation. By arranging elements of art, and going through the exploration, improvisation, and formation stages, as well as combining them with ideas and ideas, 6 works were created entitled: 1) "lonely", 2) "Doesn't care", 3) "Ballet dancers", 4) Fire dance”, 5) “tired”, 6) “Lie down” In the embodiment of the work, the author will use some technical references from other artists. By combining impressionist techniques and expressionist techniques using tile paint, acrylic in the visualization of beautiful works of art, and combined with the response of a brush that resembles cloth as in the catalog of painter Ida Bagus Indra to represent a movement, it is expected to produce quality works and become author's identity.

Abstract

Adding surface designs or paintings to merchandise is one way to increase the value of goods, the value in question is aesthetics and selling price. Agung Bali Collection as the writing partner in the MBKM Entrepreneurial activity, provided knowledge about the massage canting technique which can be used as an additional technique in making surface designs.HOLD ME is a form of Start-Up business that the author created himself, this business is engaged in fashion and art, with canvas bags and endek patchwork as its main products. Endek canvas and patchwork are the main raw materials for making products because the materials are strong and environmentally friendly, as well as the use of endek patchwork in the Agung Bali Collection as a form of preserving traditional culture and patchwork waste processing makes goods have high selling power. Until now, HOLD ME has produced six models of bag products and is planning to expand its business. The product that has been produced is a canvas cloth bag that is collaborated with endek patchwork and has a surface design with a brush technique and massage canting with the use of glitter which can make the bag product unique, beautiful and also special so that consumers do not only enjoy the product through visual beauty but also can be enjoyed from the functional aspect or usability of the product.

Abstract

The author's interest stems from the visual uniqueness of Poleng cloth which influenced the writer in adopting Poleng cloth as a painting. So it occurred to the author's desire to create a painting with the concept of Poleng Cloth as an inspiration for the creation of a painting that could represent the theme raised. The problem faced is how to visualize Poleng cloth to represent ideas, phenomena, meanings and techniques presented in creating works of art. The method of creation is a way of creating works of art systematically. In realizing this creation, the methods used are: the stages of exploration (exploration), imprivisation (experimentation), and forming (formation), which are supported by elements of fine art so that 6 works are created entitled: 1) "contemplation", 2 ) "Thennow", 3) "Related", 4) "Alignment", 5) "Heritage", 6) "Poleng establishes togetherness". In creating works, the author applies several artist references related to technique, color, composition, and tools, so that they can be developed to produce works with the development of several techniques with polleng cloth objects, it is expected to produce the author's identity in painting works. From this creation, the authors develop ideas creatively to become works that have aesthetic value and are meaningful. And with the creation of this work, the meaning and phenomenon presented by the author in the creation of the work can be conveyed.

Abstract

Display is a system of arranging objects in a room which aims to display or show off these items. Display in the exhibition space is an important element that needs to be implemented to create an exhibition space that is comfortable for viewing works of art. This becomes a challenge for the exhibiton designer/gallerist to design the best possible exhibition space. The design of the artwork display will affect the visuals and atmosphere of the displayed artwork. In designing exhibition space displays, various concepts, approaches to methods of presenting works can be used. It is this variation of display design that will determine how visitors can perceive the meaning of exhibitions and works of art. Displays that are well designed will increase aesthetic value, value and can highlight the uniqueness of the work of art.

Abstract

This independent study TA thesis raises the theme of the Meaning of Wayang Wong Ramayana at Taman Pule Mas Village temple as a source of painting creation. Departing from an illustration idea of Wayang Wong Ramayana and the procession carried out by the local community has a very deep meaning both from the Wayang Wong itself and at the time. ritual procession is performed. From this it sparked the author's desire to raise the meaning of Wayang Wong by combining certain techniques and references to achieve the desired meaning. The problem faced is how to visualize the meaning and techniques used in the embodiment of the work so that it looks attractive. The purpose and benefits of this creation are that first, in general, the author wants to embody the meaning of Wayang Wong Ramayana at Taman Pule Mas Village temple into painting, and to be able to embody the meaning or values of Wayang Wong in a symbolic form that reflects the identity of the author.To answer what is the goal in creating this work, the method used by the author in realizing this method is by exploring, improvising, forming, and finalizing the process and combining it with ideas to create 6 works. In realizing the author's work using several references related to techniques from the works of other artists, it is then processed according to the needs of the author to support the meaning to be conveyed and can produce quality work and become the identity of the author.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to describe the visualization process which includes: concepts, themes, techniques and forms of painting works with the title Self-Adjustment and Interpersonal Communication for Newcomers as Ideas for Creating Digital Painting Art. The methods used in creating digital painting works of art are exploration, experimentation and execution. Exploration in creating digital works of art includes research, theme exploration and model exploration, namely combining themes and concepts and determining the poses of female figures by means of observation. The experimental method was carried out to discover new things such as the use of effects in the Adobe Photoshop application and to apply ideas and notions to the creation of digital works of art by applying filters to the photo images that will be used, then continuing with experiments on combining the drawn figures. with photo images that have been edited in the Adobe Photoshop application. The execution stage is carried out by moving the sketch to a new layer. After the discussion and creative process, it can be concluded: 1.) The concept in creating digital painting works of art is to express thoughts and feelings into digital works of art by using female figures as the main objects as symbols of feelings that have meaning regarding each event that occurs. experienced by the author related to the phenomenon of adapting to a new environment and visualized with a surrealistic approach. 2.) The concept in creating digital painting works of art is to express experiences or phenomena related to interpersonal communication and self-adjustment experienced by artists in their lives. 3.) The manufacturing technique uses the Adobe Photoshop application and the IbisPaint digital drawing application and later combines photo images and figure drawings drawn manually. 4.) The form in the painting visualization displays a self-portrait painting with a surrealistic style and is inspired by the Art Nouveau art style which depicts female figures and other objects as symbols arranged by adjusting the composition so that it looks harmonious.

Abstract

The author discusses the history and atmosphere that the author experienced when creating the work as inspiration for painting. This topic was chosen as a means of conveying to the public what the history and atmosphere of Batu Mejan Beach is like and how the author created it in a work of painting. Creation of works is carried out through the steps of research, creation and presentation of art. This research is qualitative in nature by collecting data through journals related to Batu Mejan Beach. The method used is the Hawkins creation method, namely: idea exploration, improvisation/experimentation and realization. The originality of the work is carried out by the author from the basis of the emergence of an idea to the creation of a work of art using the visual source of coral rocks at Batu Mejan Beach and the addition of objects that have meaning/symbols. The visualization of the work emphasizes the elements of the idea and the techniques in which it is developed, accompanied by a spirit of taste that is built to give an aesthetic impression through the presentation of forms, as well as concepts that are used as references in each work. The result of the creation is a form of visualization of a painting by emphasizing the elements and principles of painting. The creation of this painting work is entitled "Canggu's Batu Mejan Beach as a Source of Inspiration for the Creation of Painting Works" with the output being a final thesis work and six works of painting art. Using palette techniques and acrylic paint materials with an expressionist flow.

Abstract

This thesis contains a description of the creation of a work of painting with the theme "Transformation of Visual Motifs of Wayang Kamasan into Figurative Figures" which was inspired by the motifs of Wayang Kamasan paintings on the ceiling of Kertagosa Hall, Klungkung, Bali. The Wayang Kamasan characters already have rules or 'standards' that must be preserved, but for the author when observing the decorative motifs of the Wayang Kamasan characters from the coils to the clothes, it provokes subconscious associations which actually give rise to their own figurative characters. Then deformation and stylization of motifs will be carried out to create imaginary results from icons in order to create figurative character symbols in the style of the author. For this reason, research was carried out to obtain assessment data using four theories, namely Carl Gustav Jung's archetype theory, Janques Lacan's imaginary theory, Susanne K. Langer's symbolic theory and A.A.M.'s aesthetic theory. Djelantik to explain this thesis. The author also uses two creation methods as inspiration originating from the 6 (six) stages of Mr. I Made Wiradana's work and the Mobile Art Labortory (MAL) which provides a Blueprint process for ideas and the formation of Mr. I Wayan Sujana's work 'Suklu'. The author obtained the results of the creation of the deformation and stylization of Wayang Kamasan motifs into figurative figures in the form of paintings using various techniques and media by considering the elements and principles of fine art. From the theme above, there are 6 (six) works that have been realized with narratives originating from the connection between the author's experiences and the side of humanism.

Abstract

The final report of this independent study/project raises the theme "Tuna Fish as a Source of Inspiration in the Creation of Paintings". The phenomenon of fish bombing, especially referring to tuna which still often occurs even though it has been urged and given a deterrent effect by giving fines or imprisonment, but there are still many who use explosives or bombs to hunt fish, the cause of fishing perpetrators is mostly aimed at getting a lot of profit in a short time and with the energy expended is so limited. The problem faced is how to apply the concept and how to visualize the meaning contained in the painting, the purpose to be achieved in the creation of this work is to appeal to the wider community, especially those in coastal areas and to ISI Denpasar students not to use explosives or bombs in catching tuna and other fish. Through the idea of creativity and imagination channeled into the form of paintings by combining certain techniques, styles, symbols, colors, and references to achieve the desired goals and meanings. It can be concluded that tuna fish inspire writers in creating paintings and develop imaginative ideas and ideas that will become valuable and meaningful works. With the creation of this work, it is hoped that it will be able to convey messages and meanings, as well as an educational medium from the impact of tuna bombing.
