Abstract

The outbreak of several diseases in the community makes it uncomfortable to live. One of them is dengue fever (DHF) which is currently being felt by the people of Sepinggan Village, RT. 33 Balikpapan. The origin of the emergence of mosquitoes is due to people's lifestyles that are not clean, such as puddles/floods, lack of lighting, messy and dirty goods. Based on the SWOT analysis conducted by the team together with the Sepinggan village head, the planting of TOGA creates many future opportunities that can be widely applied, especially in tackling DHF. Thematic parks here are more focused on making TOGA places with attractive and beautiful designs. Besides that, in order to complete the thematic garden, a hydroponic pakcoy planting medium is also made that can be used by the community or commercialized. The purpose of this activity is to make efforts to reduce dengue cases by using TOGA as a mosquito repellent plant. In addition, the benefits of TOGA can also be directly used as a kitchen spice and health. Moreover, when the product is worthy of sale, the product can be sold by the public. In addition, RT 33 of the Sepinggan sub-district can also be better known by the public thanks to mass media articles, seminars and aftermovie videos. Keywords: TOGA, Thematic Park, Sepingan Village

Abstract

Proses produksi tahu di Sentra Industri Kecil Somber (SIKS) dilakukan dengan teknologi sederhana yang sebagian besar masih manual. Tahapan produksi meliputi pemilihan kedelai, penggilingan, pemasakan, pemisahan ampas, dan pengepresan. Penggunaan teknologi yang sederhana dan mengandalkan tenaga manusia menyebabkan berbagai keluhan kesehatan di kalangan pekerja, terutama pada bahu dan pinggang, karena aktivitas berulang dan postur yang kurang ergonomis selama proses produksi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berkolaborasi dengan Primer Koperasi Produsen Tempe dan Tahu (PRIMKOPTI) untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan produktivitas produksi tahu di SIKS. Observasi keluhan fisik pekerja dilakukan menggunakan metode Nordic Body Map (NBM) terhadap 32 pekerja yang berusia antara 18 hingga 50 tahun. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas pekerja mengalami nyeri pada bahu dan pinggang akibat beban fisik yang berat, terutama dalam tahapan pengepresan tahu yang sangat membutuhkan tenaga. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tersebut, dirancang alat cetak tahu yang lebih modern dan ergonomis untuk mengurangi beban fisik pekerja. Alat cetak tahu ini dirancang dengan fokus pada teknologi yang efisien, mudah dioperasikan, serta mudah dalam perawatan. Proses perancangan melibatkan pemilihan bahan yang kuat namun ringan, desain yang ergonomis untuk mengurangi postur tubuh yang tidak nyaman, serta uji coba untuk memastikan alat tersebut mampu meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi tahu. Implementasi alat cetak modern ini diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kondisi kesehatan pekerja, meningkatkan produktivitas, serta memastikan keberlanjutan proses produksi tahu di SIKS untuk jangka panjang.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the management of mall buildings. The implementation of operations in malls often experiences obstacles, namely the availability of machine spare parts which is less than 95% of the standard inventory availability. The impact of this problem is the ability of PT. XYZ in meeting the needs of consumers. The results of observations and interviews with supervisors show that there is a lack of stock of escalator spare parts, especially for Sigma brands such as Ballasstrude Newel Chain Roller Escalator Sigma Vera, Roller Press Handrail (70x60) Sigma Ares, Roller Press Handrail Escalator Sigma Vera and Roller Step ESC Sigma (6204). This study compares three forecasting methods: exponential smoothing, linear regression, and Monte Carlo simulation. The stages of the research consist of problem identification, determination of data patterns, inventory planning with montecarlo simulations, raw material planning with safety stock and reorder points. The results of this study were obtained that the best method to handle this case was Monte Carlo simulation because it has a high level of accuracy compared to other methods. The accuracy result obtained was a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 17.03%. The results of the Montecarlo simulation obtained safety stock of 9-16 units and reorder points of 18-28 units. This research can reduce delays in fulfilling production demand, if safety stock and reorder point policies can be implemented.
