Abstract

Scientific approach enable student more active in course of learning to teach. Scientific approach enable student to learn at the same time hook;correlate with everyday life either in family environment, school and also masayarakat. Hence from that, with applying of expected by scientific approach of student more active because brought to be items to be hooked;correlated direct with real life. This research aim to to increase result of learning Physics XII MIPA class student 2 passing applying model study of Discovery learning with scientific approach 1. Mean score result of learning Physics student at I cycle is equal to 96,06 from ideal score which is possible reached by student namely 100 with deviasi standard 4,54. Becoming, can be said that by most XII MIPA class student 2 complete in study of cycle I. Applying model study of Discovery Learning with scientific approach can improve result learn Physics student at XII MIPA class 2. Applying model study of Discovery Learning with effective scientific approach can improve livelines frequency and activity in course of learning to teach as according to perception of student attitude during execution research of class action at I cycle and II cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Eksperimental dengan pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning yaitu berada pada kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 61,69 dan skor rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif 66,73 dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebesar 35% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol dengan model Discovery Learning juga dalam kategori cukup dengan skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 49,00 dan hasil belajar kognitif dengan rata-rata 44,23 dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebesar 4%. Analisis inferensial menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dengan nilai sig>0,05 sehingga ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is True Experimental with pretest-posttest Control Group Design. The results of the research show that the average critical thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class taught using the Problem Based Learning model are in the sufficient category with an average score of critical thinking ability of 61.69 and an average score of cognitive learning outcomes. 66.73 with students who achieved the KKM of 35%, while in the control class with the Discovery Learning model it was also in the sufficient category with an average critical thinking ability score of 49.00 and cognitive learning outcomes with an average of 44.23 with students who achieved the KKM. by 4%. Inferential analysis shows significant results with a value of sig>0.05 so that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

21st-century education demands relevant skills to prepare students to face challenges in the workplace and society. The philosophy of pragmatism, with its emphasis on experiential learning, provides an effective approach to implementing the Independent Curriculum. This study aims to analyze how the principles of pragmatism can strengthen the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the context of 21st-century education. Through a literature review of 10 accredited articles, it was found that the application of pragmatism supports interactive, collaborative, and project-based learning, as well as relevance to technology. The results indicate that this approach can improve students' critical, creative, and adaptive thinking skills. Therefore, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, based on the philosophy of pragmatism, is a strategic solution to address the challenges of 21st-century education.
