Abstract

This research aims to know the picture of learners’ results in morphology and ability in dictation and the relationship between them among first-year students in the intermediate stage at Dar Al-Ikhlas Institute, Mandaling, Natl. The researcher used the quantitative method in the relational type with the statistical data analysis method using the relationship symbol (Product Moment). The result of the research indicates that the result of the learners in the morphology subject among the first-year students in the intermediate stage at the Dar Al-Ikhlas Institute, Mandaling Natal, is in the good category with a rate of 43, meaning 130 students, and their ability in dictation is in the good category, with a rate of 50%, meaning 15 students, and a relationship between the morphology result. The ability to boil dictation material has a correlation coefficient value of 797.0 at 69%, and the relationship is moderate with a positive direction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the views of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers regarding the implementation of educational democracy at SMK 3 Padangsidimpuan. Democracy in education is seen as important to create a fair and inclusive learning environment, as well as providing equal opportunities for all students. This study uses a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview method with several experienced PAI teachers at the school. The data obtained were analyzed thematically to understand the perceptions of PAI teachers regarding the implementation of democratic principles in learning activities, both in terms of teaching materials, interactions with students, and learning methods used. The main objective of this study is to determine the extent to which the principles of educational democracy are implemented in PAI learning at SMK 3 Padangsidimpuan, as well as to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by teachers in implementing these principles in the classroom. The results of the study indicate that PAI teachers at this school are generally aware of the importance of democracy in education, although its implementation is still limited to certain aspects such as providing freedom of opinion to students and respecting differences of opinion. The obstacles faced include the lack of facilities and support in implementing educational democracy comprehensively. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more democratic education, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education, as well as being a reflection material for teachers and schools in building a more participatory and inclusive learning approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam bagaimana peran pemerintahan dalam politik pendidikan memengaruhi kondisi sekolah dan siswa di MTs Al-Ikhlas Dalan Lidang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pemerintah, khususnya melalui Kementerian Agama, sangat menentukan arah dan praktik pendidikan di madrasah ini. Kebijakan pendidikan seperti Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, bantuan operasional sekolah (BOS), serta program pelatihan guru memiliki dampak nyata terhadap sistem pembelajaran, pengelolaan sekolah, dan pengalaman belajar siswa. Di satu sisi, kebijakan tersebut memberikan arah dan dukungan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Namun di sisi lain, pelaksanaannya menghadapi tantangan besar, termasuk keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya pelatihan yang berkelanjutan, birokrasi administrasi yang kompleks, serta ketidaksesuaian kebijakan dengan kondisi lokal. Siswa mengalami manfaat dari materi ajar yang lebih terstruktur, namun juga menghadapi tekanan akademik dan hambatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun pemerintah memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk sistem pendidikan nasional, efektivitas kebijakan sangat bergantung pada kemampuan adaptasi di tingkat lokal serta dukungan nyata terhadap kebutuhan sekolah dan siswa di daerah.
