Abstract

This study aims to determine the dual role of women as career women in helping the family economy through a home kiosk business in Pekanbaru, Riau. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that economic motivation is the reason for women to perform multiple roles in moderate categories. The results also showed that in terms of perception and action of multiple role strategies, the majority of women want a balance between the two (the priorities of family and business). The last result, family welfare, objectively falls into the welfare category, and subjectively falls into the medium welfare category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi kurikulum pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di era digitalisasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari bahan dan data-data dari buku maupun jurnal. Dengan demikian peneliti ini dapat menggunakan semua informasi dan pemikiran yang relevan bagi para pembacanya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum pembelajaran IPS saat ini memerlukan integrasi isu-isu global kontemporer dan penggunaan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mendesak untuk pengembangan profesional guru agar dapat mengajar menggunakan metode yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa abad ke-21 yang merupakan era digitaliasasi. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi untuk memperkuat keterampilan kritis dan analitis siswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan pembelajaran era digital. Kesimpulan utama menekankan pada pentingnya kerjasama antara lembaga pendidikan dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang dan membuat kurikulum yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the significant effect of Small Group Work learning method toward student social science learning achievement at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar. This research was instigated with the low student learning achievement, including the lack of student knowledge of Social Science learning material and the lack of student ability to communicate in group discussions. Quantitative method was used in this research with quasi-experimental approach. All the seventh-grade students were the population of this research, and they were 132 students. While the samples consisted of 66 students, they were the seventh-grade students of classes 1 and 2, and they were selected with purposive sampling technique. Test, observation, and documentation were used to collect data. Based on the research findings and data analyses, there was a significant effect of Small Group Work learning method toward student social science learning achievement at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar. It could be identified from the experimental posttest mean score 78.33 and the control posttest mean score 69.85. Based on the independent sample t-test results, tobserved was higher than ttable (6.847>1.669), so it could be concluded that Ha was accepted, and H0 was rejected. The effect size test results showed that the score was 0.69, so there was a moderate effect of Small Group Work learning method toward student social science learning achievement at State Islamic Junior High School 8 Kampar.
