Abstract

Labor pain is a sign that the mother in labor period. Appears due to uterine contractions caused by an increasing of the oxytocin hormone, stretching of the uterine muscles, a decreasing of the progesterone hormone, an increasing of the prostaglandine hormone. Labor pain can be controlled with 2 methods, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. The SEFT technique consists of 3 stages, namely the set up, the tune in, and the tapping. This research is a pre-experimental research with a One Group Pre and Post Test research design. The subjects in this study were women giving birth in the 1st stage of labor in the active phase in the Watubelah Community Health Center Working Area, Cirebon Regency in June-July 2024. Based on the results of the analysis carried out by researchers using a paired T test (Paired Samples T Test) with significance (2-tailed ) 0.000 < 0.05 indicates the influence of SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy on the level of pain in the first stage of active labor in the Watubelah Community Health Center Working Area, Cirebon Regency. There was a change in the pain scale after SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy.
