Abstract

Fiber To The Home (FTTH) networks have become an important communications infrastructure that meets the need for fast and reliable internet connectivity in various communities. The aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive analysis of FTTH network development, focusing on the factors that influence the quality of FTTH networks and their impact on society and industry. The research method used, among others, is quantitative by measuring the IN and OUT attenuation parameters at the Optical Distribution Point using an Optical Power Meter measuring instrument. Then the results are compared with the TIPHON/ITU-T Packet Loss standard. The analysis results show that IN and OUT attenuation greatly influences the quality of the FTTH network. The results of the total attenuation analysis on Line A show that the attenuation that has been compared using Packet Loss has a total attenuation difference of 1.11% to 1.37%, on Line B 1.07% to 1.49%, on Line C 1.27% to 1.43%, and on Line D 1.16% to 1.56% the difference obtained during the research can still be said to be quite feasible and good for use by customers. By considering these factors, it is hoped that the construction of an FTTH network can provide maximum benefits for society and industry in supporting economic growth and technological progress.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing a website for transparency in the use of Village Funds in Durian IV Mbelang Village, so that the community can more easily monitor the allocation and utilization of village funds. The main problem was the limited access to information related to village funds which hinders community participation in supervision. The proposed solution included developing a website using the Waterfall method and the Laravel framework, equipped with PHP technology for coding and MySQL for data management, with the aim of providing easy access and transparency of information for village communities. The development process started from analyzing user needs to implementing features for information accessibility. Testing using the Black Box method and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed that this website is effective in providing real-time information and can be easily accessed. Overall, this website is expected to be able to increase community involvement in monitoring the use of Village Funds and strengthen the accountability of its management.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini memiliki tujuan untuk Mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang berbasis mobile pada materi Konfigurasi Sistem Operasi Server Server, serta Melakukan uji coba terhadap aplikasi e-modul berbasis mobile dalam pembelajaran Administrasi Sistem Jaringan kelas XI TJKT di SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang. Permasalahan yang sering ditemui adalah masih digunakan modul pembelajaran konvensional yang cenderung bersifat satu arah. Modul ini sering kali kurang memberikan penjelasan yang mendetail serta minim visualisasi langkah-langkah yang diperlukan. Oleh karena itu, siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi dan merasa bingung ketika mencoba menerapkan secara mandiri, padahal sudah sesuai dengan Langkah di modul tapi tidak berjalan sesuai yang di rencanakan karena ada beberapa Langkah unik yang dilakukan terutama pada mata pelajaran administrasi sistem jaringan dimana siswa mempelajari bagaimana cara mengoperasikan Sistem Operasi Server server, dimana siswa disini benar benar tidak tahu tentang apapun.

Abstract

Administrative letter services at the village (nagari) level are still largely conducted using conventional methods, resulting in various issues such as limited service hours, slow processing times, and risks of document loss. This study aims to develop a web-based letter service system with the implementation of digital signatures in Nagari Bukit Bais to improve efficiency, security, and transparency of public services. The research adopts the Agile Development method with an iterative approach, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The developed system enables citizens to submit requests online and is equipped with features such as officer verification, digital signing by the village head, automatic notifications, digital archiving, and document verification using QR Codes. Security mechanisms are implemented using SHA-256 cryptographic hashing and RSA-2048 digital signature algorithms, supported by X.509 digital certificates. Functional testing using end-to-end methods shows that all system features operate successfully without failures, while non-functional testing confirms the reliability of document security and integrity. The resulting system is able to automate the entire service process, reduce processing time, and ensure document authenticity and security. Therefore, this system can serve as a solution to support the digital transformation of public services at the village level.
