Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Leuwidamar has a student affairs program, including the extracurricular activity of Islamic Spirituality (ROHIS), aimed at enhancing the students religiosity through a work program based on Islamic teachings. Recognizing the significance of effective and efficient time management, particularly guided by Islamic teachings, is key to the success of implementing the ROHIS work program at the school. The objective of this research is to analyze the optimization of time management based on Islamic teachings in the ROHIS work program at SMA Negeri 1 Leuwidamar. This study adopts a qualitative research method, specifically analyzing the concept of time management based on Islamic teachings in the ROHIS Work Program at SMA Negeri 1 Leuwidamar. Data is obtained through direct observation and interviews with ROHIS mentors and officials. The study employs the perspectives of the Quran and Hadith to analyze time management based on Islamic teachings in the ROHIS work program at SMA Negeri 1 Leuwidamar. The findings indicate that optimizing time management based on Islamic values in the ROHIS work program adds deeper meaning and aligns with the principles desired by Islam, enabling ROHIS to play a more effective role in shaping a characteristically Islamic generation that contributes positively to society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spiritual leadership style implemented in Islamic Boarding Schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and literature study. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and literature documentation on four research topics; 1). The concept of spiritual leadership; 2). Characteristics of spiritual leadership; 3). Spirituality at work; and 4). Indicators and measurement tools of spiritual leadership. This study presents a basic understanding of spiritual leadership, including an in-depth understanding of the traits of spiritual leadership and indicator tools for measuring spiritual leadership. As well as the implementation of the theory already described. The conclusion of the result of this study is that spiritual leadership helps inspire its members to perform and achieve common goals. Spiritual leadership refers to the leadership character of the Prophet SWT. Indicators that can measure spiritual leadership are Shidiq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fatonah. The implementation is the principal who has high integrity and honesty and has a sense of responsibility for what is entrusted by the Foundation environment and parents.

Abstract

Leadership is a crucial aspect of organizational dynamics, affecting individual performance, motivation, and development within it. What will be studied in this literature is the comparison of transactional and transformational leadership on the scout extracurricular at 1 Leuwidamar State High School. Transactional leadership focuses on exchanges between leaders and members, with an emphasis on supervision, incentives, and sanctions, while transformational leadership emphasizes the development of shared vision, motivating through inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and individual attention. The aim of this literature is to find out the differences between these two models of leadership in the context of practical application, their impact on extracurricular performance, as well as their implications for managing change and creating a sustainable work culture in the scout extracurricular at 1 Leuwidamar State High School. The method used in this research is qualitative research with the Field Research approach. In this case, the author conducted field research on Scout Extracurricular at Leuwidamar State High School 1, which relates to the comparison of transactional and transformational leadership models. Thus, both models also have context and need within the organization to find an optimal balance between maintaining stability and stimulating change in leading an institution. The results of both models can provide valuable insights in developing effective and adaptive leadership strategies, as well as having a significant impact on State High School 1 Leuwidamar.
