Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Government in the youth empowerment program in Milangodaa Barat Village, Tomini District, South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The research method uses a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with a number of informants, and documentation.The results of the study that: seen from the role of the government as a motivator is still not optimal in motivating and involving teenagers in various activities in the village, this shows the low level of youth participation. Then the role of the government as a communicator is also still less effective due to limited sources of information and lack of socialization of programs related to village design. Seen from the role of the government as a facilitator is still inadequate because the available facilities are still limited. Teenagers hope that the village government will immediately add the facilities needed, such as badminton and takraw courts. It is recommended that the government increase efforts to motivate and involve teenagers in the planning and implementation process of activities in the village. The need to increase transparency and openness of information by more actively conveying village programs and plans. The need to accelerate the realization of the addition of badminton and takraw courts to help teenagers develop their potential and talents in these sports.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of MSMEs in empowering the local community economy and their contribution to improving the local economy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The focus of this study includes skills, limited capital, and innovation, products that are still the main obstacles in contributing MSMEs in Molangga Village. The results of the study show that empowering MSMEs has a positive impact on creating jobs , increasing community income, and encouraging economic independence. However, limited capital and minimal innovation are challenges that require further support, both from the government and related institutions. This study is expected to be a reference for developing policies that support the empowerment of MSMEs and improving the economic welfare of people in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an MSME business strategy management model in encouraging the acceleration of national economic recovery with a research focus, namely the identification of internal and external factors of MSMEs and the preparation of MSME strategy models. The population is determined by purposive sampling and purposive sampling. The data analysis used is a qualitative descriptive method, namely identifying various problems faced by MSMEs in Gorontalo province and analyzing them using SWOT analysis and then formulating a strategy model to overcome them. MSMEs are a very important sector and play an active role in the Indonesian economy. The role of MSMEs also includes the acceleration of Indonesia's economic growth. This is because there is a match between the role of MSMEs in providing jobs and the formation of added value. Especially the strategic management aspects that must be carried out by MSMEs both in increasing production, increasing the capacity of MSME human resources, capital, and marketing activities. Another thing is the importance of the government's role and attention to continue to encourage MSME players to increase their production and help market MSME products not only at the local level but can reach abroad. This activity is expected to immediately restore economic conditions in the current post-pandemic period for the better.

Abstract

Banggai Islands Regency, which is located in Central Sulawesi Province, has great tourism potential. This area offers extraordinary natural beauty such as exotic beaches, mountains and enchanting lakes. One of the interesting natural tourist destinations in this district is Lake Paisupok which is located in Lukpanenteng Village, North Bulagi District, Banggai Islands Regency. Lake Paisupok has great potential for development as a tourist attraction. However, the management and use of this lake is still limited because tourism management requires complex efforts and involves all related parties. The aim of this research is to find out how the Paisupok Lake tourist attraction is managed in Lukpanenteng village, North Bulagi sub-district, Banggai Islands district. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, which aims to understand social and cultural phenomena from the perspective of the participants or subjects studied, so that they can describe existing problems. This research focuses on the management of the Lake Paisupok tourist attraction located in Lukpanenteng Village, North Bulagi District, Banggai Islands Regency, The results of this research show; First, from an implementation perspective, the management of the Lake Paisupok tourist attraction is still not optimal or less effective. Second, in terms of organization, its effectiveness is still not fully optimal. Third, from an implementation perspective, the management of the Lake Paisupok tourist attraction still relies heavily on the deliberation process in decision making. Even though deliberation is a democratic approach, its implementation is often not optimal because the decision-making process takes a long time. Abstract

Tujuan dari kuliah kerja lapangan produktif sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan SDM dan kesejahteraan desa melalui optimalisasi dan kreasi penggunaan potensi lokal, mendukung segala proses dan pembangunan yang ada di masyarakat demi meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, menumbuhkkan rasa kebersamaan dan jiwa kepemimpinan mahasiswa yang peduli terhadap masyarakat, mendekatkan perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat, dan membantu pemerintah dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejateraan dalam masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk Kuliah Kerja Lapangan Produktif (KKLP) dilaksanakan di desa Tamboo selama 40 hari. Tahapan pelaksanaannya dimulai dari tahap Persiapan dan pembekalan mencakup materi persiapan dan pembekalan yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Hasil yang dicapai pada Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk Kuliah Kerja Lapangan Produktif (KKLP) melalui penyuluhan UMKM kepada masyakat dinilai berhasil dengan menghasilkan produk Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) “Somay Ikan Tuna” serta dapat mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai perilaku hidup sehat dan peningkatan minat baca tulis anak.
