Abstract

This research aims to learn more about the impact of gadget use on children's social dynamics in the modern era. This research focuses on students at SD Negeri Bakung II Tangerang, Banten. Descriptive qualitative methods were used in this endeavor to gain a more comprehensive understanding of this phenomenon. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and documentation from a number of people involved, including students from grade 4 to grade 6, teachers, and parents. Individual perceptions and experiences related to device usage were studied through in-depth interviews and documentation, which supplemented the data with relevant information. The results showed that the use of the devices had significant positive impacts, including an increase in students' knowledge through access to additional information However, negative consequences were also found, such as decreased concentration in schoolwork, a tendency to become more introverted, and an increased likelihood of bullying and drug abuse among children. These results were obtained through thematic analysis of the data collected. This research utilized the triangulation method, which involves using multiple sources of data to ensure that the results are consistent. In addition, the study conducted participant testing to obtain feedback and validation on the findings and interpretation of the results. This research emphasizes how important it is for parents and teachers to supervise and teach their children to use electronic devices so that the negative effects can be reduced. It is hoped that this research will provide insights for schools, parents and policy makers in formulating effective strategies to help children's social development in the digital age, as well as encourage the creation of a healthier and more productive environment for future generations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regional Regulation (Perda) of Serang City Number 07 of 2013 concerning the Protection of Children and Women in handling cases of violence. The focus of the study is directed at the extent to which the policy is able to provide protection, services, and recovery for victims, as well as identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the field. This research was also carried out with a qualitative approach, where data was obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and analysis of official documents. The informants in the study included elements of the government, institutions engaged in the protection of women and children, law enforcement officials, and individuals who were victims of violence. The results of the study show that normatively, Regional Regulation No. 07 of 2013 has provided a firm legal basis in encouraging prevention, countermeasures, and recovery efforts for victims of violence. However, at the implementation level, there are still a number of obstacles such as lack of policy socialization, limited human resources, suboptimal support facilities, and coordination between agencies that have not been maximized. However, there are also supporting factors such as the commitment of the local government and the support of community organizations that care about the issue of protecting women and children. Therefore, the success of the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 07 of 2013 is determined by solid cooperation between the government, law enforcement officials, and community participation. This research is expected to be an input for policy makers to strengthen legal protection mechanisms, improve integrated services for victims, and encourage continuous evaluation of protection policies for children and women in Serang City

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba di Indonesia terus menjadi permasalahan serius meskipun berbagai upaya pencegahan telah dilakukan. Masalah ini semakin mengkhawatirkan karena penyalahgunaan narkoba tidak hanya menyasar orang dewasa, tetapi juga pelajar. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada pelajar di MAN 4 Tangerang sebagai langkah preventif terhadap penyalahgunaan narkoba. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif dan simulasi. Peserta dari kegiatan ini berjumlah 37 orang yang merupakan pelajar di MAN 4 Tangerang. Pengukuran keberhasilan program dilakukan melalui pretest, posttest, dan observasi langsung, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 56%. Hasil program ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelajar mendapatkan pengetahuan yang lebih komprehensif tentang definisi dan jenis-jenis narkoba, bahaya narkoba, cara mencegahnya, alur pendampingan, cara menghindarkan diri serta bagaimana mengatakan “tidak” terhadap tawaran narkoba. Selain itu, observasi menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam sikap dan perilaku pelajar setelah sosialisasi dan simulasi, mencerminkan dampak positif dari kegiatan ini.
