Abstract

Bank Indonesia Library in its development in the digital era which is part of Bank Indonesia's transformation in achieving its vision and mission by implementing knowledge management as a valuable asset. In the process where the BI Bengkulu Branch Library adopted One-Person Librarian. This study discusses One-Person Librarian in the strategy of implementing knowledge management of the Bank Indonesia Bengkulu library. Through this study, One-Person Librarian takes strategic steps in the knowledge management process by utilizing the availability of technology that is always integrated with the Bank Indonesia head office library. Although in practice the independence of One-Person Librarian is a challenge in itself. So that there is a need for periodic evaluation of the productivity and effectiveness of One-Person Librarian with the hope that the implementation of knowledge management can be optimized by the organization.Perpustakaan Bank Indonesia dalam perkembangannya di era digital yang menjadi bagian dalam transformasi Bank Indonesia dalam mencapai visi misinya dengan langkah menerapkan manajemen pengetahuan sebagai suatu aset yang berharga. Pada prosesnya dimana perpustakaan Kpw BI Bengkulu mengadopsi One-Person Librarian. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai One-Person Librarian dalam strategi penerapan manajemen pengetahuan perpustakaan Bank Indonesia Bengkulu. Melalui penelitian ini One-Person Librarian  mengambil langkah strategis dalam proses manajemen pengetahuan dengan memanfaatkan ketersediaan teknologi yang selalu terintegrasi dengan perpustakaan kantor pusat Bank Indonesia. Meskipun pada prakteknya kemandirian One-Person Librarian menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Sehingga perlunya evaluasi secara berkala terhadap produktivitas dan efektivitas One-Person Librarian dengan harapan penerapan manajemen pengetahuan dapat dioptimalkan oleh organisasi.

Abstract

Branding is an effort to build a positive identity and image for an institution. This research aims to understand the branding process carried out by the Dehasen Library through its Instagram account @perpustakaan_unived. Using Field Research methods with a qualitative approach, data was collected through three techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. This study analyzed the digital marketing communication strategy of the library based on the SOSTAC theory. The research results indicate that although branding through Instagram is an essential effort to promote the library, the branding efforts by the Unived Library are not yet optimal. The Dehasen Library has implemented digital branding management steps including situation analysis, objective setting, strategy development, tactic determination, action implementation, and control. However, several indicators have not been properly implemented, such as communication, time-setting, program planning, and training. One of the reasons for this is the lack of attractive Instagram content management and the absence of dedicated human resources (HR) for managing the Instagram account. In summary, despite the Dehasen Library following some of the digital branding management steps according to the SOSTAC model, there are key aspects that need improvement to optimize digital branding. Recommendations for improvement include enhancing  the quality and frequency  of Instagram content, involving suggestions and feedback from followers to create more engaging content, and providing training for the staff responsible for managing social media. With these steps, the library is expected to increase the number of Instagram viewers and strengthen its positive image among students and the academic community.

Abstract

Library tour activities at the UI Library are carried out by Public Relations under the Head of the General Administration and Facilities Coordinator. The UI Library has one public relations staff. To meet various needs, the Library must continue to improve the quality of its offerings, therefore public relations plays an important role in the running of the library tour. The purpose of the library tour is to make Library services better by providing a good experience to its participants, but there is still little research that explicitly looks at how public relations communication strategies or tactics are successful in providing the best possible service during a library tour. This study aims to describe the author's findings regarding public relations communication strategies in excellent service. The type of qualitative research is a descriptive approach. The informants in this study were public relations and additional informants who were library tour participants. The results of this study, first public relations created a route design strategy, second public relations created a human resource design, third public relations created an interactive method in the form of questions and answers during the library tour, fourth public relations published news of activities through Instagram and the website. On Instagram, public relations also published video testimonials, messages and impressions of participants after the activity took place. Furthermore, the form of excellent service provided by public relations, namely Friendliness, Speed, Truth, empathy, and very impressive, in the sense that the service gives a good impression of the Library. The form of excellent service can also be proven by the return of related agencies for library tours which indicates that the service provided is good, because the information provided can be conveyed well by the participants of the relevant agencies. The significance of this study lies in its efforts to fill the literature gap related to public relations communication strategies in excellent service in academic library environments. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions in the field of organizational communication and provide practical input for other libraries that want to develop similar programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa S1 FISIP Universitas Bengkulu dalam mencari informasi melalui TikTok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Dari hasil kuesioner yang telah diperoleh, kemudian dilakukan tabulasi data dan dianalisis menggunakan pengolahan data statistik. Skala pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala likert. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menemukan bahwa mayoritas responden dalam mencari sumber informasi melakukan tahapan-tahapan dalam mencari kebutuhan informasinya. Mahasiswa memiliki sikap positif dalam mencari informasi mengenai sumber berita terpercaya melalui TikTok. Mereka cenderung tertarik, didorong oleh mata kuliah, memilih topik dengan cermat, mencari dari berbagai sumber, mengajukan pertanyaan dengan baik, menyebarkan keakuratan informasi, dan merasa puas dengan hasil pencarian. TikTok digunakan oleh pelajar untuk mendapatkan berita atau informasi, mereka masih meragukan keakuratan informasi yang terdapat pada TikTok. Mahasiswa berusaha memperoleh dan memverifikasi keakuratan informasi dengan cara mencari sumber selain TikTok. Namun, mereka juga menghabiskan banyak waktu untuk mencari dan mengakses informasi yang mereka butuhkan, dan merasa terdorong untuk mencari informasi tambahan dari sumber lain setelah menggunakan TikTok.
