Abstract

Abstract: Arabic comprises four abilities and four components, namely speaking, reading, writing, and listening. The aim of this study is to knowledge the effect of using Arabic cartoons to improve listening skills of children in Grade 2 at Tsanawiyah Islamic Boarding School in Tandem Hilir, North Sumatra. The researcher use quantitative approach with experiment method. This study compares the students' listening abilities before and after the application of Arabic cartoons. According to the study's findings, pupils overall scored 1853 on the pretest. The average score is 61.8; pupils who receive the predicate pass 9 individuals while those who do not pass 21 individuals. The posttest exam had a total score of 2663, but the average was 88.76, with 30 students receiving the passing predicate and none receiving the failing predicate. The influence of Arabic cartoons on listening skills is another factor. The value of 2,04<17,197>2,75 indicates that to is greater than tt. Ha is therefore accepted but Ho is refused. Keywords: Education, Arabic Cartoons, Listening Ability مستخلص البحث: اللغة العربية لها أربع مهارات وأربع عناصر هي الاستماع والكلام والقراءة والكتابة، ويهدف هذا لمعرفة تأثير استخدام "كرتون عربي" على ترقية مهارة الاستماع لدى طلاب الصف الثاني في المدرسة المتوسطة بمعهد سبيل المؤمنين تندم هيلير سومطرة الشمالية. استخدم الباحث المنهج الكمي بطريقة التجريبية. ونتيجة البحث تدل على أن استعمال "كرتون عربي" هي: المجموعة ١853، والمعدل هو ٦1،٨، ناجح 9 طلاب، غیر ناجح 21 طالبا، وقدرة الطلاب على مهارة الاستماع بعد استعمال "كرتون عربي" هي: المجموعة 2663، والمعدل هو 88,76، ناجح 30 طالبا، غیر ناجح لا يوجد. ويوجد تأثير"كرتون عربي" على مهارة الاستماع لدى طلاب الصف الثاني. وأظهرت النتيجة to أكثر من tt وهي 2,04< 17،197>٢،٧5. فالفرض العدمية مردودة والفرض التبادلية مقبولة. كلمة المرور: التربية، كرتون عربي، مهارة الاستماع

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan merekonstruksi sejarah masuknya Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Lengayang dan mendeskripsikan tokoh pencetus utamanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah dalam beberapa tahapan di antaranya: (1) heuristic; (2) kritik sumber; (3) sintesis; dan (4) penulisan. Tulisan ini mengungkapkan sejarah lahirnya organisasi Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Lengayang berawal dari perkenalan oleh para pedagang yang beraliran Muhammadiyah dari Maninjau. Tak hanya itu, dedikasi H. Samiak Ibrahim dari Nagari Kambang yang merintis mendirikan Cabang Muhammadiyah di Banda Sapuluah (Pesisir Selatan) termasuk di Kecamatan Lengayang juga memiliki peran penting. Hal itu juga dibuktikan dengan kedatangan Hamka ke Banda Sapuluah (Pesisir Selatan) tepatnya di Balai Selasa untuk memberitahu atas kehadiran Muhammadiyah di Banda Sapuluah (Pesisir Selatan) pada tahun 1928. Pada tahun 1947 Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Lengayang berkembang menjadi dua cabang, yakninya Cabang Kambang dan Cabang Lakitan

Abstract

This study explores the role of technology in optimizing zakat management for the economic empowerment of the Muslim community. As an essential instrument in Islamic economics, zakat holds significant potential in poverty alleviation and enhancing societal welfare. However, conventional zakat management often faces challenges such as a lack of transparency, accountability, and distribution efficiency. In the digital era, technology offers strategic solutions through innovations such as digital platforms, blockchain-based applications, big data analytics, and electronic payment systems. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method to analyze the implementation of technology in zakat management across various zakat institutions. The findings indicate that technology enhances the efficiency of zakat collection, expands the reach of muzakki (donors), and ensures a more targeted distribution to mustahik (recipients). Furthermore, technology fosters transparency and strengthens public trust in zakat management institutions. Thus, integrating technology into zakat management not only reinforces zakat’s role as a social finance instrument but also serves as a catalyst for the sustainable economic empowerment of the Muslim community.

Abstract

Climate change poses a serious challenge to global food security, especially in developing countries that depend on the agricultural sector. This article aims to analyze the role of Islamic economics in improving food security in the era of climate change by using the literature study method. The results show that Islamic economics, especially Islamic financial instruments, has a significant contribution in supporting a resilient food system. Islamic economic instruments, such as zakat, waqf, and sharia-based financing, can be utilized to empower farmers, improve access to capital, and fund sustainable agricultural projects. This article concludes that the integration between Islamic economic principles and food security strategies offers a holistic solution to address the impacts of climate change. The findings provide recommendations for policy makers, Islamic financial institutions and local communities in strengthening an equitable and sustainable food system.
