Abstract

The present study aimed to address the problems encountered in Arabic learning for fifth-grade students at MI Bahrul Ulum, specifically the lack of innovative media, with a particular focus on Mufrodat materials. In addition, students' disinterest in learning Arabic can be attributed to the fact that teachers rely solely on traditional learning resources, such as textbooks devoid of any innovative media. This results in students experiencing boredom and lack of concentration during lessons, which renders learning uninteresting and repetitive. In addition to determining the degree of interest in Mufrodat Asik Snakes-and-Ladders (UTAMA) media under development, this study was focused on providing a description of the procedure used in its creation. To achieve this aim, the ADDIE model was employed by the following five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The findings of the study indicate that the Mufrodat Asik Snakes-and-Ladders (UTAMA) media product underwent a methodical development process. Several stages of validation were completed to ensure the media were valid and suitable. Media experts assessed the product with a 94% (very valid) rating, followed by language experts with a 95% (very valid) rating, and material experts with a 98% (very valid) rating. In the interim, students evaluated the attractiveness of the media through a series of testing phases and responses to a questionnaire: 97% for individual trials, 99% for small group trials, and 95% for large group trials (all piqued interest). Thus, it can be concluded that the developed Mufrodat Asik Snakes-and-Ladders (UTAMA) media satisfies the criteria for attractiveness and validity/feasibility, and can be utilized for educational purposes.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in Aqidah Akhlak lessons are due to the learning model used which tends to be teacher-centered with a lecture model, therefore innovative learning models are needed to be an alternative problem solving for low student learning outcomes, one of which is by applying the Index Card Match model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Index Card Match model on the Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes of grade II students of MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan. The type of research method used is quantitative research. The research design used is One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design, in this design there are accurate results by comparing the learning outcomes of the situation before and after being given treatment with the Index Card Match model. Data analysis techniques use differentiation, difficulty and sensitivity of question items. This study uses a paired sample t-test with a significance level of less than 0.05. The results showed a sig value of 0.000 which means less than 0.05 so it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus obtaining information that there is an effect of the Index Card Match model on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak class II at MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan and the average learning outcomes of students show before using the Index Card Match model the average value is 56.35 and after using the Index Card Match model the average value is 82.3 that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by 25.95. Based on the explanation of the research results as a whole, it can be concluded that there is an influence and improvement in student learning outcomes after being treated with the Index Card Match model on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak class II at MI NU Sukomalo Lamongan.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the skills that must be mastered by every student, besides that creativity also greatly affects student learning outcomes. One of the learning models that can increase the level of student creativity is Project Based Learning (PjBL). The application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model before and after on student creativity in class IV MI Malihatul Hikam Tunggul Paciran Lamongan. This study uses a quantitative research method with a Pre-Experimental Design research type with the form of The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the results of the pretest which initially got an average score of 55.41 then increased in the posttest which got an average score of 90.07. The results of the t-test calculation (Wilcoxon) assisted by the SPSS version 25 application showed that Ha was accepted that there was a significant influence in the application of the Project Based Learning model on student creativity. The results of this study state that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase the creativity of class IV students in the subject of science at MI Malihatul Hikam. Besides that, in the learning process, students also appear active and are able to produce good work/projects.

Abstract

Pergeseran paradigma budaya lokal yang mulai luntur disebabkan oleh globalisasi mengakitbatkan budaya lokal tersisihkan dan terlupakan. Banyaknya siswa madrasah yang belum mengenal budaya lokal dan rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa menjadi sebuah masalah yang harus segera diatasi. Pengenalan budaya lokal melalui literasi digital yang dikemas dengan games pembelajaran akan lebih menarik dan efisien dalam memecahkan masalah pembelajaran tersebut. Sasaran kegiatan ini ada siswa kelas 5 dan kelas 6 di MI Narative Quran Lamongan. Kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari 4 tahapan yakni, analisis kebutuhan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melalui beberapa rangkaian kegiatan, antara lain 1) pada tahap analisis kebutuhan tim pengabdian melakukan wawancara dan observasi sekolah, 2) pada tahap perisiapan tim pengabdian membuat soal dan modul ajar bertema kearifan lokal Lamongan, 3) pada tahap pelaksanaan tim pengabdian mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Lamongan melalui games education, dan 4) pada tahap evaluasi tim pengabdian mengevaluasi nilai games education siswa dan di dapatkan hasil nilai siswa pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and its impact on the critical thinking abilities of fourth-grade students. A mixed-method design was employed, utilizing a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest format. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and critical thinking assessments. Data analysis followed a Sequential Exploratory strategy, beginning with the collection of qualitative data and subsequently proceeding to quantitative analysis. The implementation of PBL was conducted in six structured sessions, which included icebreakers, group discussions, text analysis, sentence construction, story writing, and presentations. Results showed that PBL enhanced students' participation, motivation, self-confidence, and critical thinking skills, particularly in identifying problems, analyzing information, drawing logical conclusions, evaluating solutions, and communicating ideas. Quantitatively, the average pre-test score of 61.87 increased to 71.13 in the post-test, with a significant difference (t = -6.038; p < 0.05). Therefore, PBL positively influenced learning outcomes and fostered critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative competencies in language learning.
