Abstract

Land classification for oil palm plantations is an important topic in agricultural and plantation development. In this research, the local binary pattern (LBP) method and support vector machine (SVM) classification were used to identify oil palm plantations from aerial photography images. The main challenge in this process is accurately distinguishing oil palm fields and forests that have similar patterns and colors in satellite images. The LBP method is used to extract important texture features from images, while SVM is used to build a classification model based on these features. The test results show that using this method provides an accuracy value of 83.33% in the classification of oil palm land images. The development of oil palm plantations in Indonesia is becoming increasingly important as investment prospects strengthen. This research helps develop image classification technology to support the agricultural industry.

Abstract

Indonesian people are very dependent on bottled mineral water resources (gallons) and LPG gas for their daily needs. The dependence on these two resources provides a great opportunity for business people to sell gallons and LPG gas. Mu’afah shop is a basic food store that provides all household needs for daily use, one of the needs sold is gallons and lpg gas. Sales of gallons and lpg gas are erratic in this store, sometimes in a day the sales are very high but it can also be that in a day there is no single sale. This makes the seller unable to ensure the right time to restock goods. This research is qualitative using the weight moving average method with mu’afah shops as research material. Based on the test results using the Weighted Moving Average method, it shows that the method runs well as expected. This can be proven by the calculation of MAD of 1.195 (gallons) and 0.792 (gas), MSE of 0.72 (gallons) and 0.34 (gas), and MAPE of 37.08 (gallons) and 33.2 (gas). So that the accuracy of test results can also be considered quite good.

Abstract

The development of advanced technology makes everything complicated easier, such as attendance that can be accessed online. Attendance data is needed by companies and organizations that can be used to support the provision of salaries, awards, and employee performance reporting. With the advancement of technology, many companies have implemented an online attendance system to facilitate the processing of employee attendance data, but the system can be used anywhere and makes it possible to find out employees who skip work. In certain cases, employees can take attendance at home even though they do not come to work, skip work or are late. This raises new thoughts for the author to build an online attendance system based on location coordinate mapping, where there is a time and coordinate map that shows the position of the employee displayed on the system, when absent and the reason for the employee's absence so that it can be anticipated to avoid employees who commit attendance fraud. The purpose of this research is to assist companies in overcoming attendance problems by building an online attendance system to overcome the problem of attendance of all employees and organizing all incoming data neatly and structured so that it is easier to summarize data information..
