Abstract

Introduction: Women who experience menopause will experience a decrease in the hormones estrogen and progesterone that occurs before menopause caused by ovarian atrophy, so it needs to be overcome with pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One type of non-pharmacological therapy is complementary therapy. Objective: This study aims to identify interventions that can be taken to reduce menopausal signs and symptoms. Methods: CINAHL, PubMed, and Sage Journal databases were used for searching articles with sample inclusion criteria of menopausal women, Randomized Controlled Trials or quasi experimental study design, published in 2017-2022, in English, and full text. The exclusion criteria used were the focus of articles discussing interventions to reduce menopausal signs and symptoms with pharmacological therapy, protocol study articles, and pre-proof articles. Results: The search results for 14 matching articles were found. Interventions that can be done to reduce menopausal signs and symptoms are grouped into 4 approaches, namely psychological approaches (self hypnosis and mindfulness stress reduction programs), physical approaches (foot soaking and physical activity), nutritional approaches (herbal medicine, administration of magnesium, fluid nutrition, administration of isoflavones), and combined approaches (electroacupuncture, combined diet guidance and anti-resistance exercises). Conclusions: From the 14 articles obtained, it can be concluded that there are 4 categories of therapeutic approaches that can be taken to reduce menopausal symptoms.It is recommended that further research focus on interventions that are effective in reducing menopausal symptoms.

Abstract

Introduction: The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted various aspects, one of which is the education aspect which requires learning to be carried out remotely via video conference causing students to experience zoom tiredness. Besides that, as long as student study from the house via video conferencing, the potential happening decline in skills academic as a result competent students not achieved with good consequences from achievements motivation distracted students. Objective: The purpose of study he knew the connection Among Fatigue Zoom Levels with Achievement Motivation in student Faculty Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Method: Population study student active S1 Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran. Type study quantitative with design descriptive correlation. Sampling technique will use disproportionate stratified random sampling (n=271). The Instrument of study Zoom Exhaustion & Fatigue Scales for measure zoom tired and achievements motivation Scales for measure achievements motivation. Results: The results of data analysis were obtained sig. 0.000 < 0.05 with score correlation coefficient worth positive 0.289 which means strength relationship enough. Motivation owns a great influence on achieving learning. Although in implementation needed management good activity for avoiding possibility happening zoom tired. Conclusion: There is an adequate and positive relationship between zoom fatigue levels with achievement motivation in student Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran during online learning in the pandemic period Covid-19.

Abstract

One of the problems faced by nursing students is alexithymia, alexithymia is an emotion that can appear unintentionally, but there is a state of emotional processing deficit that causes a person to be unable to express his emotions or known as alexithymia. Internet use in Indonesia, which reaches 160 million people, has a link between addiction to internet use and the incidence of alexithymia. Objective: This study aims to find out the relationship between alexithymia and duration of internet use at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran. Method: The research population is active students of the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlation design. The sampling technique to be used is total sampling (n=590). The instrument in this study used an instrument, namely the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 (TAS-20). Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis used spearman test. Results: The results of data analysis obtained sig. 0.045 < 0.05 with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.083, which means the strength of the relationship is weak. Individuals who experience depression and bullying can change their emotions for the better when using the internet and text messages than using drugs illegally and the internet is easy to access and easy to use. Research shows that the higher the level of internet or social media addiction, the higher the alexithymia score. Conclusion: There is a weak and positive relationship between alexithymia and duration of internet use at the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran.

Abstract

Background: Psychological well-being in a person is influenced by several factors, one of which is gender, where this factor is a differentiator between psychological well-being that is owned by a father or mother as a parent which will affect the ability to overcome problems that occur in the family, especially problems child health.Purpose: This study aims to determine differences in Psychological Well-Being viewed by gender in Depok City.Methods: The study population was parents who have children with autism spectrum disorder (ADS) at SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA Budi Lestari and Harapan Utama Ananda School. This type of research was quantitative with a correlation descriptive design. The sampling technique to be used was total sampling (n=30). Data collection was carried out on 23 – 27 June 2022. The instrument in this research uses the Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) instrument.Results: The results of data analysis obtained sig value. with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.695, which means that the strength of the relationship is strong.Discussion: The level of psychological well-being in each person is different. One of the factors that influence a person's psychological well-being is their belief in the roles they carry out on a daily basis. This gender difference determines how the parenting pattern is given or carried out by parents to their children.Conclusion: There is a strong and positive relationship between gender and parents with psychological well-being in parents who have children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Â
