Abstract

The fulfillment of children's nutrition is an important aspect in supporting children's optimal growth and development. Parents play a crucial role in providing healthy and nutritious food for their children. However, parents' knowledge about child nutrition may not always be adequate, which can impact children's health and well-being. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of webinars as a health education method on parents' knowledge about fulfilling children's nutrition at TK Hati Nurani. Methods: This study used a quantitative design with a quasi-experimental approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The study sample consisted of 15 parents at TK Hati Nurani. Data were collected through organizing webinars and distributing online questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. Results: the results showed that although webinars as a health education method were conducted, there was no significant change in parents' knowledge about child nutrition. The results highlight the possibility of factors such as unfamiliarity with technology and limited access to or understanding of technology affecting the effectiveness of webinars in improving parental knowledge. Conclusion: There is a need for in-depth evaluation of the design and implementation of webinars as a health education method. Nonetheless, the importance of health education as an effort to increase parents' knowledge and awareness about fulfilling children's nutrition is still emphasized.

Abstract

Introduction: Loss is a state in which a person is detached from something that existed before, with the possibility of being partially or completely absent. Each individual will respond and take a different amount of time to accept a loss. Internet-based remote intervention can be an alternative face-to-face intervention for psychological therapy for people who have experienced loss. Purpose: To explore internet-based interventions in reducing loss and grieving symptoms using the rapid review method. Methods: This literature review uses CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct, and Cochrane as article search databases, with the year of publication ranging from 2012-2022, and the main focus refers to individuals who have experienced loss and bereavement. Results: The search results, there were 386 articles, and the selection results obtained 6 articles which show that there are several interventions, such as exposure and behavioral activation, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and healthy experience after a loss, that are effective in dealing with the problem of grieving for individuals who have experienced the loss of a partner, child, death due to suicide of a loved one and other forms of other disadvantages by using the internet. Conclusion: Internet-based interventions have the potential for nurses to modify nursing care in reducing the impact of loss and grieving on victims by providing a comprehensive online-based implementation so that it can be accessed more easily by nurses and patients. Latar Belakang: Kehilangan adalah keadaan di mana seseorang terlepas dari sesuatu yang ada sebelumnya, dengan kemungkinan sebagian atau seluruhnya tidak ada. Setiap individu akan merespon dan membutuhkan waktu yang berbeda untuk menerima sebuah kehilangan. Intervensi jarak jauh berbasis internet dapat menjadi alternatif intervensi tatap muka untuk terapi psikologis bagi orang yang mengalami kehilangan. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan mengeksplor intervensi berbasis internet dalam mengurangi gejala kehilangan dan berduka dengan metode rapid review. Metode: Literatur review ini menggunakan CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct, dan Cochrane sebagai database pencarian artikel, dengan rentang tahun publikasi 2012-2022, dan fokus utama mengacu pada individu yang pernah mengalami kehilangan dan berduka. Hasil: Hasil pencarian terdapat 386 artikel, dan hasil seleksi mendapat 6 artikel yang menujukkan terdapat beberapa Intervensi seperti exposure and behavioral activation, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, serta healthy experience after a loss, efektif mengatasi masalah berduka bagi individu yang pernah mengalami kehilangan pasangan, anak, kematian akibat bunuh diri orang yang dicintai dan bentuk kerugian lainnya dengan menggunakan internet. Simpulan: intervensi berbasis internet menjadi potensi bagi perawat untuk memodifikasi asuhan keperawatan dalam menurunkan dampak kehilangan dan berduka pada korban dengan memberikan implementasi secara komprehensif berbasis online agar dapat diakses lebih mudah oleh perawat dan pasien.

Abstract

Background: The phenomenon of mental disorders is a phenomenon that continues to grow and has an influence on various aspects of life. One of the causes of mental disorders is the experience of traumatic events. Objectives: The purpose of this literature study is to find out what traumatic experiences the patient had before entering a mental hospital. Methods: The design used the narrative review method. The article search method used CINAHL, Pubmed, and Sciencedirect. The inclusion criteria were articles in English, a span of 10 years, full text, qualitative and quantitative, and respondents were patients in a mental hospitals. Results: The number of articles found and analyzed in this literature study was 8 articles regarding the traumatic experience of patients before entering a mental home. Conclusion: The experiences of patients before entering a mental hospital include the experience childhood trauma, post-disaster trauma, emotional trauma, and physical trauma.

Abstract

Background: Metacognitive skills play an important role in the academic success of Nursing students. However, understanding of the description of cognitive skills in nursing students is still limited, especially at Padjadjaran University. Efforts to evaluate and understand students' cognitive skill levels can provide valuable insights for the development of more effective Nursing education curricula. Objective: This study aims to describe the cognitive skills of Padjadjaran University Nursing students. Method: This research uses quantitative descriptive. The questionnaire used is the 18 item Self-Regulated Online Learning Questionnaire (SOL-Q) to measure students' cognitive skills. The sample technique uses accidental sampling. The sample in this study was 103 nursing students at Padjadjaran University. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that 103 Nursing students at Padjadjaran University were research subjects. There were 61.3% of the total research subjects who had low metacognitive skills. These findings indicate the need for special attention to the development of cognitive skills, especially metacognitive skills, in the Nursing education curriculum. Potential factors influencing students' cognitive skills also need to be further explored. Conclusion: Understanding the description of cognitive skills in nursing students can be the basis for developing more effective and targeted learning strategies.

Abstract

Background: Bullying behavior among students has become a severe problem that affects their mental and physical well-being. The factors that cause bullying behavior are very complex and involve various aspects. One factor that is receiving increasing attention is alexithymia.Purpose: This study explores the relationship between alexithymia and student bullying behavior.Methods: The research used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional study approach. The research sample consisted of 120 class X students at Senior High School X in Bandung, selected using a total sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires, including the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 (TAS-20) to measure alexithymia and the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire for bullying behavior. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman correlation test.Results: The data obtained show that less than half of the respondents (36.7%) experienced high levels of alexithymia, 38.3% likely experienced possible alexithymia, and 25% did not experience alexithymia, while the majority of respondents exhibited high bullying behavior (43.5%). This study shows a positive relationship between alexithymia and student bullying behavior (p <0.0001; r: 0.309).Conclusion: Alexithymia can increase bullying behavior in school children. The higher the level of alexithymia, the greater the tendency to engage in bullying behavior.

Abstract

Fenomena masalah kesehatan mental semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya di kalangan mahasiswa. Mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Tunas Unggul merasakan cemas karena harus menyesuaikan dengan metode pembelajaran dan tugas sebagai penerima beasiswa. Terlebih di kondisi pandemi covid-19 yang menyebabkan mahasiswa kurang bersosialisasi dengan guru dan temannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kondisi kesehatan mental mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Tunas Unggul. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 42 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Self Reporting Questionnaire-29 secara online melalui google form. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden tidak berisiko terjadi gangguan mental emosional yaitu sebanyak 42 responden (68.86%), sedangkan sbagian kecil responden berisiko mengalami gangguan mental emosional sebanyak 19 responden (31.14%). Data tersebut menjadi perhatian bersama bahwa lebih dari seperempat siswa yang berisiko mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental dan perlu dianalisis lebih dalam untuk mengetahui masalah kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Sebagian kecil mahasiswa yang berisiko gangguan mental emosional disebabkan oleh perubahan metode pembelajaran, tekanan pembelajaran, beban dan tugas, serta latar belakang siswa. masalah kesehatan mental yang dialami oleh mahasiswa perlu ditindaklanjuti oleh pihak beasiswa dan pihak universitas untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan mahasiswa. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah perlunya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan mental mahasiswa.

Abstract

Masalah reproduksi menyebabkan berbagai dampak negatif seperti masalah fisik dan psikologis. Remaja yang memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang tentang kesehatan reproduksi rentan mengalami masalah reproduksi. Remaja memerlukan pemahaman tentang kesehatan reproduksi untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatannya. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesehatan terhadap pemahaman remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen terhadap 40 kader sekolah sehat di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Jakarta. Teknik sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner knowledge of reproductive health berbentuk google form tentang pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja yang dibuat oleh penulis. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk mengetahui efek edukasi kesehatan kepada remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai pre-test dan post-test terhadap pengetahuan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Adapun rata-rata nilai pre-test peserta adalah 70 dan rata-rata nilai post-test adalah 95. Hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebanyak 25 poin. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengetahuan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi remaja (p-value=0.002). Sehingga edukasi merupakan hal penting untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah. Edukasi kesehatan reproduksi merupakan hal penting untuk pembiasaan di sekolah. Pengetahuan peserta terhadap kesehatan reproduksi sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran siswa sehingga dapat menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya. Kemudian, program dalam meningkatkan kesehatan reproduksi remaja ini perlu dioptimalkan melalui program promosi kesehatan di sekolah.

Abstract

Aim: This study aims to determine the description of resilience in students at Bandung High School. Method: This study used a descriptive design with purposive sampling technique, involving 100 respondents consisting of students from grades X to XII aged 12 to 19 years. Data were collected using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), which consists of 25 statements with a score range of 0-100. The results of the validity and reliability tests showed that the instruments used were valid and reliable. Results: The results showed that 30% of respondents had a high level of resilience (30 students), 42% were at a moderate level of resilience (42 students), and 28% had low resilience (28 students). The average resilience score was 60.94, with a score range between 35 and 100. These findings indicate the need for special attention to students with low resilience, who are at risk for psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. Social support, coping skills, and specially designed intervention programs can help improve resilience among students. Conclusion: This study underscores the importance of understanding high school students’ resilience levels to support their mental and academic well-being. More effective support programs for students with low resilience are needed, as well as further research to explore factors that influence resilience.

Abstract

Self-esteem merupakan faktor psikologis yang berperan dalam membentuk kesejahteraan emosional dan sosial individu, terutama bagi mereka yang berada dalam lingkungan pembinaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat harga diri pada warga binaan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas II Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 168 warga binaan yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan nilai tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar warga binaan memiliki tingkat self-esteem yang cenderung rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya intervensi untuk meningkatkan self-esteem warga binaan guna mendukung proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial.
