Abstract

There are learning problems when in the field, not a few students are less enthusiastic and lack response when listening learning activities take place. In this case, learning needs to use strategies in delivering material so that learning outcomes can be achieved efficiently. Therefore, the researcher tried to provide a learning design for listening by using the "Nine Instructional Events Gagne" strategy. This study aims to determine how the design of the concept, implementation, and results of learning maharah Istimā' with "Gagne's Nine Instructional Events" to trigger student learning communication. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) with one cycle. with data collection techniques of observation, documentation, and measurement in the form of tests. The results of this study indicate that a listening learning design that leans towards Gagne's nine events can improve students' responses to the listening process. As evidenced by the first cycle stage, the average score of 75.6 was categorized as good. With the results of student scores reaching 75.6%, it can be said to be successful even though the changes are not so significant, it is known that the learning carried out has improved better than before using Gagne's nine events learning strategy. This research implies that it can provide concepts for the world of education, to provide a learning option.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the errors  of the kitabah in the Arabic speech texts of PORSENI participants in KKMTs 01 Gresik based on the perspective of the nahwu rule. The background of this research departs from the importance of writing skills in Arabic, especially in the context of formal speeches that demand syntactic and morphological accuracy. Although Arabic language learning has been implemented in educational institutions, there are still various errors in sentence structure, i'rab, and the use of idhafi tarkib and number tarkib in the speech text of participants. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Error Analysis method. Data was collected through the documentation of participants' speech texts, which were then analyzed based on the nahwu rule to identify the types and factors that caused the error. The results of the study show that the most dominant mistakes are i'rab errors, the use of fi'il and dhamir, and the structure of tarkib that is not in accordance with the rules of the Arabic language. The main factors that caused this error included the participants' lack of understanding of syntactic rules, the influence of the mother tongue, and the lack of practice in compiling formal speech texts. As a recommendation, this study suggests the application of learning methods based on error analysis, increased writing and speaking practice in Arabic, and intensive mentoring for competition participants. It is hoped that this strategy can improve the language skills of participants and reduce errors in the use of nahwu rules.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of test items by analyzing their validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating power, and distractor effectiveness in measuring students’ learning outcomes. A descriptive quantitative design was employed, involving sixth-grade students of Tarbiyatus Shibyan Elementary School, Duduksampeyan Gresik, during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through documentation of students’ test results and analyzed using SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel. The findings reveal that most items meet the criteria for validity, as indicated by r-values exceeding the r-table or significance levels below 0.05. The reliability coefficient (Cronbach’s Alpha) also exceeds 0.6, demonstrating strong internal consistency. The difficulty level analysis shows that 68% of the items fall into the moderate category, with no items classified as difficult. However, the discriminating power is predominantly poor, with 72% of items showing indices below 0.19, and 24 items contain ineffective distractors. These results imply the need for improved item construction to ensure more accurate, fair, and balanced assessments in elementary education
