Abstract

This research discusses the effect of providing occupational therapy on fine motor development in autistic children at ADNI Kindergarten in Surabaya. The aim of the research is to see the effect of providing occupational therapy on the development of fine motor skills in autistic children at ADNI Surabaya Kindergarten. Occupational therapy is a therapy used for autistic children and can also be applied to children/adults who experience autism, speech delays, developmental disorders and other growth and development delays. Occupational Therapy aims to help children who experience problems with their fine motor skills. This therapy can be used as an option to try to improve children's physical and mental abilities to take part in activities that involve children's gross and fine motor skills so that children can be independent and can develop and be accepted in society. This research will be carried out at the ADNI Surabaya Kindergarten. The methodology used is a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental design. Based on the results of the analysis, the change in the mean concentration value before and after being influenced by Occupation showed that the Pre-test value was mean = 1.38 and the Post-test value experienced a change, namely mean = 1.50. Meanwhile, the statistical test results obtained a p value of 0.024, which means that there is an influence of Occupational Therapy on the development of Fine Motor in Autistic children at ADNI Surabaya Kindergarten in 2024.

Abstract

This research aims to find a solution to the problem of difficulties in improving language skills in terms of early reading in early childhood in group A1 in Hidayatus Shibyan Surabaya. The research method used in this research is the research and development method or often called Research and Development (R&D). The subjects of this research are students in group A1 of the Hidayatus Shubiyan Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 academic year with a total of 15 students with an average age 4-5 years old, consisting of 9 female students and 6 male students. The results of the research presented data on the differences between the use of Flipchart-based Pop Up learning media and increasing initial reading ability in group A1 of Kindergarten Hidayatus Shibyan Surabaya. From the table above, the result is tcount = - with a significance level of 0.000. Because the significance level is smaller than 0.05, Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that "There is an influence of the use of Pop Up learning media on increasing the initial reading ability of children in group A1 of Kindergarten Hidayatus Shibyan Surabaya"

Abstract

Stimulating Character Development and Independence in Early Childhood Through Entrepreneurship Activities at ADNI Islamic School Surabaya Kindergarten discusses the implementation of stimulating character development and independence in early childhood through Entrepreneurship activities at ADNI Islamic School Kindergarten Surabaya. This Entrepreneurship activity aims to stimulate positive character development and increase children's independence from an early age. By exploring business concepts practically, children are invited to develop creativity, critical thinking, perseverance and collaborate with each other. This research illustrates how the ADNI Islamic School Surabaya Kindergarten integrates the principles of Entrepreneurship into the curriculum, providing a learning experience that is more than just theory. Interactive and inclusive learning methods help children understand business values, responsibility and teamwork. The results of this program are expected to create children who not only have practical knowledge in business, but also foster positive attitudes, such as courage, perseverance, never giving up, and a responsible attitude. By utilizing Entrepreneurship activities as a means of stimulating character development and independence, research This notes the positive impact of this program on the formation of children's independent personalities. Analysis of research results and observations presents a clear picture of how these activities respond to the developmental needs of early childhood. Therefore, this research provides valuable insights for educators, parents and educational practitioners who are interested in developing comprehensive and relevant educational models to shape children's character and independence from an early age.

Abstract

Project-based science learning with MELESAT content using loose parts is the choice as a learning model for young children to build new knowledge, with a scientific mindset children are getting to know Al-Khaliq, exploring new things, being creative, innovative, thinking out of the box, are adaptive to the environment, able to produce work and can develop and practice skills related to the real world. One way to learn science more constructively and meaningfully is through project-based learning that integrates MELESAT components using loose parts as open-ended play materials. Through continuous particSainstion in various play activities in the classroom and outside the classroom, children are actively involved in dialogue that is rich in scientific thinking patterns by utilizing complex and abstract scientific process skills such as observing, asking, observing, predicting, evaluating, and comparing. Discussions with children during the learning process about scientific thinking concepts related to mathematics, existence, literacy, engineering, science, art and technology merge with strengthening coaching by teachers for children during the learning process. The results of this research led to the conclusion that with the right teacher guidance, the learning process provides many opportunities for children to develop 21st century skills to prepare children for life in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how many fathers are involved in caring for early childhood children in the Surabaya area. The background of this research is to look at the phenomenon of fathers' lack of involvement in child care, resulting in some children behaving in fear, lacking self-confidence, speaking harshly, and not being able to control their emotions. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with a survey method. The subjects of this research were fathers who had young children in the Surabaya sub-district area. Respondents in this study totaled 332 fathers. The research results show that as many as 84% ​​of fathers have high involvement in their children's care in Surabaya Village. However, based on the data, 42% of fathers are still busy with their activities when they are with their children and as many as 46% of fathers are still not close to their children, such as kissing and hugging their children. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training to fathers on how to care for early childhood children which includes aspects: Interaction, giving an example, accompanying, supervising, providing warmth and meeting the child's needs.
