Abstract

Abstrak: Menurut World Health Organization (WHO), jumlah individu yang menderita hipertensi global mencapai 1,13 miliar pada tahun 2015, menyebabkan meningkatnya risiko kematian dengan perkiraan 9,4 juta kematian setiap tahunnya akibat komplikasi yang timbul. Edukasi dan workshop di Desa Sindangasih dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan pembuatan serbuk jahe dan beras kencur sebagai obat tradisional membantu menurunkan kasus hipertensi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di kantor desa Desa Sindangasih Kecamatan Cikatomas Kabupaten Tasikmalaya mulai dari pembukan, pretest, penyampaian materi, workshop, diksusi, posttest dan penutupan. Evaluasi kegiatan berupa analysis data kuesioner pada awal dan akhir kegiatan peserta menggunakan SPSS dengan uji independent t-test dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Kegiatan berjalan lancar dan dihadiri oleh 20 orang peserta. Kegiatan edukasi dan workshop meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pembuatan produk obat tradisional antihipertensi.Abstract: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of individuals suffering from hypertension globally reached 1.13 billion in 2015, leading to an increased risk of death with an estimated 9.4 million deaths annually due to related complications. Education and workshops in Desa Sindangasih were conducted to provide knowledge and training on the preparation of ginger and beras kencur powder as traditional remedies to help reduce hypertension cases. The activities took place at the Desa Sindangasih village office, including an opening session, initial questionnaire, presentation of material, workshop, discussion, final questionnaire, and closing. Evaluation of the activities involved analyzing the questionnaire data from the beginning and end of the event using SPSS with an independent t-test at a 95% confidence level. The event proceeded smoothly and was attended by 20 participants. The educational activities and workshop enhanced participants' knowledge and skills in making traditional antihypertensive products.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a persistent and permanent decline in kidney function, disrupting metabolism and fluid and electrolyte balance, resulting in an increase in ureum levels. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and compliance of CKD patients in undergoing hemodialysis therapy at Ciamis Hospital. This study is descriptive quantitative using a cross sectional approach with accidental sampling technique in January-March 2025, involving 40 inpatient respondents. Data were collected through the Familly Suppot Scale (FSS) questionnaire to measure family support variables and the Morisky Medication 8-item Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) to see hemodialysis therapy compliance. Data testing was conducted with validity, reliability, and R-Square analysis and T-test using Partial Least Squares (PLS) model. The results showed that all instruments were valid and reliable, with AVE Validity > 0.5, Cronbach Alpha and Composite Reliability > 0.7. R-Square analysis, a combination of five family support variables obtained 88.1% of patients had a high level of compliance in following hemodialysis. The T-test results show that there is a significant relationship between instrumental support, informational support, emotional support, appreciation support and self-esteem support with hemodialysis therapy adherence in CKD patients. This is the role of the family is very important in supporting the patient's adherence to hemodialysis therapy.
