Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of internalizing multicultural education values in Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) learning at MA DDI Darun Najah Kaloling, situated within a multiethnic community. The research focuses on planning, teacher strategies for internalization, and evaluation and its impacts on students. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Madrasah, the Fiqh subject teacher, and students. A qualitative approach was employed, using interviews, observations, and documentation, with data analyzed through collection, condensation, presentation, and verification stages. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The findings reveal that multicultural value internalization was systematically carried out through the synergy of institutional policies, curriculum enhancement, and teacher training. The madrasah’s vision, which emphasizes Qur'anic character and religious moderation, served as a foundation for instilling tolerance values. Teachers applied a phased strategy of transformation, transaction, and transinternalization using active learning approaches such as discussions and case studies. Evaluation indicated improved tolerant attitudes, a more inclusive classroom environment, and reduced conflict potential. These findings produced an internalization model that can serve as a reference for other madrasahs in fostering a multicultural and harmonious learning environment. This indicates that multicultural education can be effectively integrated into religious instruction. A holistic educational design is needed, encompassing policy, instructional strategies, evaluation, and teacher training alongside further research to explore broader contexts and identify enabling and inhibiting factors in the internalization of multicultural values across diverse madrasah settings.

Abstract

This study explores the application of the concept of "khairu ummah" through non-formal education at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School, Malang, with a focus on the role of religious traditions in shaping individual character. The background of this study is driven by the decline in morals and erroneous understanding of religion in Indonesia, which is evident in social events such as violence and religious conflict. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies, involving observation, interviews, and documentation to analyze how religious traditions, such as congregational prayer and tadarus Al-Qur'an, contribute to the formation of khairu ummah character. The results of the study indicate that the application of religious traditions consistently and structured is effective in shaping individuals who meet the criteria of khairu ummah, which includes the integration of the values of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar and iman billah in everyday life. This study emphasizes the importance of expanding socialization and implementing the principle of khairu ummah to overcome the decline in morals and understanding of religion in society.

Abstract

Program sekolah hijau (Adiwiyata) merupakan kerjasama antara Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dengan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup yang diresmikan pada tanggal 21 Februari 2006. Persoalan pengelolaan sampah di SMPN 13 Malang menjadi salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh lembaga pendidikan ini. Namun, setelah melaksanakan program Adiwiyata secara konsisten, transformasi dapat dilihat dari sikap dan kepedulian lingkungan dari peserta didik, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata berbasis nilai-nilai agama Islam di SMP Negeri 13 Malang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi primer. Analisis data melalui pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, display, dan penarikan simpulan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan program Adiwiyata melalui proses pemahaman konsep lingkungan, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam program Adiwiyata, lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung, dan pada akhirnya akan berdampak pada pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Dampak yang timbul adalah penguatan tanggung jawab siswa, peningkatan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, pola hidup berkelanjutan, serta penguatan karakter religius dan jiwa sosial siswa.

Abstract

Research on the integration of the diniyah and independent curriculum in PAI learning to build students' religious character at Al Ishlahiyah Singosari IntegratedVocational School in Malang, this aims to describe and analyze a design,implementation and evaluation of the integration of the diniyah and Merdekacurriculum. This type of research is qualitative research, based on the discussionincluding descriptive research using a case study plan. Data collection techniquesuse observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried outstarting from data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Theresults showed that the design of the integration of the diniyah and independentcurriculum is classified as a separate model (Fragmanted model) because itdescribes that science is separated and has its own character about deep andcomprehensive understanding. Implementation of the integration of the diniyahand Merdeka curriculum through the principle of reflective learning. The divisionof learning time is in the morning for the Merdeka curriculum, while the duhurtime, for the diniyah curriculum. Evaluation in this integration refers to evaluationsthat are Formative (initial assessment / learning process), Summative (PTS, PAS,PAT), monthly meetings, annual work meetings and workshops to increaseeducational effectiveness in producing graduates with Islamic character.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendampingan Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Berbasis Google Site di Pondok Pesantren AZ-Zahra Lawang merupakan program pendampingan pengajar Pondok Pesantren Az- Zahra yang dilaksanakan secara periodik dengan melibatkan pengajar dalam kegiatan pendidikan yakni Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Berbasis Google Site. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan kepada pengajar terkait media pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta melatih hardskill pengajar dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis google site di lingkungan Pesantren Az- Zahra. Adapun Pelaksanaan Pendampingan ini mengunakan metode RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal), sedangkan metode dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan teknik PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal). Pondok Pesantren Az-Zahra adalah Lembaga pembelajaran yang memiliki perhatian besar terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa arab. Hal ini terlihat dalam kurikulum dan penggunaan sumber belajar yang menggunakan Bahasa arab. Adapun pengajar yang terdapat di pondok pesantren Az-Zahra berjumlah 10 orang. Dalam menyampaikan pembelajarannya, Pengajar masih menggunakan cara traditional dan minim dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Pada Tahap akhir yaitu evaluasi yang terdiri dari penilaian dan monitoring pendampingan yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap pengajar di Lembaga mitra. Hasil dari pendampingan ini yakni adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pengajar sebesar 90% terkait teori media pembelajaran Bahasa arab dan adanya peningkatan sebesar 80% dalam kompetensi pengajar dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran Bahasa arab berbasis google site.Abstract: Assistance in Creating Arabic Learning Media Based on Google Site at the AZ-Zahra Lawang Islamic Boarding School is a mentoring program for teachers of the Az-Zahra Islamic Boarding School which is carried out periodically by involving teachers in educational activities, namely the Creation of Arabic Learning Media Based on Google Site. This activity aims to provide insight to teachers related to Arabic language learning media and train teachers' hard skills in using google site-based learning media in the Az-Zahra Islamic Boarding School. The implementation of this assistance uses the RRA (Rapid Rural Appraisal) method, while the method in its implementation uses the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) technique. Az-Zahra Islamic Boarding School is a learning institution that has a great interest in learning Arabic. This can be seen in the curriculum and the use of learning resources that use Arabic. The teachers at the Az-Zahra Islamic boarding school are 10 people. In delivering their learning, teachers still use traditional methods and are minimal in the use of learning media. In the final stage, it is an evaluation consisting of assessment and monitoring of assistance obtained through observation and interviews with lecturers at partner institutions. The result of this assistance is an increase in teachers' knowledge by 90% related to Arabic language learning media theory and an 80% increase in teacher competence in making Arabic language learning media based on google sites.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation strategy of the quality improvement policy, the obstacles to implementing the quality improvement policy, and the solution to overcome the obstacles to implementing the quality improvement policy in MTs. Al Akhyariyah Panjalinan. The method of this research is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. The study results show the following: Implementation strategy for quality improvement policies at MTs. Al Akhyariyah Panjalinan has been running for its establishment. This can be seen from several indicators, including the standards and policy objectives that have been achieved, the resources that support it, communication between the principal and teachers, employees, and students runs smoothly, inter organizations and inauguration activities are running well, the characteristics of implementing supportive agents, as well as social, economic, and political conditions that are conducive and support the implementation strategy of quality improvement policies. The obstacles that arise in implementing quality improvement policies are low student understanding of the importance of education, inadequate number of educators, inadequate learning infrastructure, and the economic condition of students' parents classified as middle to lower economic levels. Solutions to overcome obstacles in the implementation of quality improvement policies are providing an approach so that students want to continue their education to the next level, finding substitute teachers according to the subject, procurement of infrastructure facilities through BOS funds, providing the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) for underprivileged students.
