Abstract

Corporate stakeholders, including owners and managers, have different interests, often becoming obstacles in implementing good corporate governance and achieving corporate goals. Conflicts of interest can lead to unfair practices in decision-making and adversely affect the company's image and performance, especially if morals and business ethics are ignored. No matter how good a system is in place in the company, if employees or management behave deviantly and violate a business ethic, fraud can occur which is very detrimental to the company and ends in bankruptcy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of indicators of good corporate governance mechanisms on financial performance in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis, normality test, partial significance test (t test), determination test (r2), multicolinerity test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test with the help of SPSS. The samples used in this study amounted to 8 companies. With the observation period carried out is 4 years from 2015 to 2018. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, the number of boards of commissioners has a positive and significant effect on financial performance and the number of boards of directors has a negative and significant effect on financial performance

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Aman Sejahtera Global yang bekerja fungsioanal yang masih aktif dengan jumlah 30 orang karyawan. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh (sensus), yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi di jadikan anggota sampel. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner kepada seluruh responden. Data dalam penelitian ini akan diuji dengan beberapa tahapan pengujian, diantaranya yaitu uji statistik deskriptif, uji kualitas data yang terdiri dari (uji validitas, uji reliabilitas), uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari (uji normalitas, uji autokorelasi, uji heteroskedastisitas), dan pengujian seluruh hipotesis melalui uji koefisien determinasi, uji parsial (uji t) dan uji simultan (uji f). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Makaassar Tene. Sementara itu dari kedua variabel tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa variabel motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Makaassar Tene. Kata Kunci: gaya kepemimpinan; motivasi kerja; kinerja karyawan. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and motivation on employee performance. The population used in this study were all employees of PT. Aman Sejahtera Global who work functionally who are still active with a total of 30 employees. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling (census), which is selecting a sample if all members of the sample are members. Sources of data used are primary data collected by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The data in this study will be tested with several testing tests, namely descriptive statistical tests, data quality tests consisting of (validity test, reliability), classical assumption test consisting of (normality test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test), and hypothesis testing through coefficient of determination test, partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (f test). The results showed that the variables of leadership style and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Makassar Tene. Meanwhile, from the two variables, it can be seen that the motivation variable has a more dominant influence on employee performance at PT.
