Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Regional Training program for NTB Province for PON 2024. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The evaluation model used in this research is the CIPP model (context, input, process, product). The research results show that the context aspect, namely in the form of policies and objectives, has been well defined by KONI NTB. In the input, process and product aspects, there are significant obstacles. Where the availability of facilities and infrastructure is still lacking, budget support is still inadequate. In terms of success in qualifying athletes, there has actually been an increase, with more than 254 athletes qualifying to take part in the upcoming PON 2024. However, this achievement is the result of the involvement of elements outside KONI NTB, namely Sports Management, as well as athletes and coaches who are active independently. KONI should have taken a key role, but in reality it was replaced by other parties who actually have roles and responsibilities that are no greater than KONI.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul: Coaching Clinic Atletik Nomor Lompat Horizontal Pada Guru Pendidikan Jasmani Kota Mataram bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru Penjas dalam bidang olahraga atletik (khususnya nomor lompat horizontal). Hal ini dilakukan mengingat masih rendahnya literasi maupun keahlian para guru pada cabang olahraga atletik nomor lompat jauh dan lompat jangkit. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan pemecahan masalahnya yang bersifat segera. Melalui metode pelatihan ini, tim pengabdian melakukan transfer ilmu dan kemampuan kepada para guru Penjas di Kota Mataram. Diharapkan pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian ini dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dialami oleh objek pengabdian.

Abstract

Waste management in Dompu Regency remains a major challenge in achieving a clean and healthy environment. Although Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2017 concerning Waste Management has been issued, the implementation of this policy has not yet produced optimal results. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the regulation and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its execution. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the main obstacles to policy implementation include a lack of public outreach, limited facilities and infrastructure, weak inter-agency coordination, and insufficient budgetary support. On the other hand, the commitment of technical implementers on the ground serves as a foundational asset for achieving a sustainable waste management system. Therefore, strategies such as strengthening institutional capacity, continuous public education, and enhanced cross-sector coordination are necessary to support the success of this policy.
