Abstract

Calligraphy as a branch of art that has long roots, origins and history, besides having many kinds that show artistic peaks that attract attention because of their prowess, in Indonesia, calligraphy was present in line with the entry of Islam through trade routes in the 7th century M, then spread to remote parts of the archipelago around the 12th century AD. The method used is This research is included in qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data sources are data from journals, library research methods with discussions about calligraphy (khat). Data collection techniques were carried out in three ways, namely: data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that Learning Calligraphy at Modern Islamic Boarding Schools uses many methods such as the lecture method, demonstration method, question and answer method, drill/assignment method, SAS method. , Field Trip Methods and Methods of Training and Practice.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of learning media in improving students' Arabic language skills at the An-Nuari Madrasah Darul Madani Education Foundation. This research is intended to find out the role of learning in improving students' Arabic language skills and to find out the role of using learning media in improving abilities. Arabic language for students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research uses primary data and secondary data. The research location was carried out at the An-Nuari Madrasah Darul Madani Education Foundation. The results of this research show that the role of learning media can improve students' Arabic language learning abilities. This was obtained through observing students' activities in the classroom during the learning process and through the results of students' daily evaluation tests after the learning process. The teaching staff at the An-Nuari Madrasah Darul Madani Education Foundation use learning media in the form of whiteboards, pictures, cards, objects inside and outside the classroom and textbooks. The supporting media provided by the school is Infocus in improving the Arabic language of students at the An-Nuari Madrasah Darul Madani Education Foundation.

Abstract

Calligraphy is a branch of Arabic knowledge that focuses on the art of writing in Arabic. The art of writing has developed over time. Especially nowadays, an application called Anā Muhtarif Al Khaṭ has emerged, where this application has an influence in the field of calligraphy. Based on this, the author is interested in knowing the impact of using the Anā Muhtarif Al Khaṭ application on calligraphy science. In this research, the author uses qualitative methods, where the author collects data and information through literature studies and trials. The results of this research are that this application has a good influence, especially for audiences who want to create calligraphic works who do not have special talent or expertise in the field of calligraphic writing. On the other hand, this application also has negative impacts, including threatening the history of calligraphy in terms of writing manually using a brush and canvas.

Abstract

Arabic language learning is a central part in shaping the personality of students in understanding and knowing Arabic as a whole and in-depth for future generations, and the current tendency of Arabic language learning focuses on the empirical ratio aspect marked by the use of Western theory as a basis for learning so that spiritual aspects are only taught in the private sphere. Pesantren Fahmussalam provides a new breakthrough in Islamic education by making the teachings of tarekat alawiyah in Arabic language learning, namely the practice of the book Maulid Dhiyau Al-Lami ' by Habib Umar bin Salim bin Hafidz. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach and interviews as a research base, where researchers make direct observations in observing Arabic language learning at fahmussalam Islamic boarding school. The results of this study indicate that Intuitive Psychology is a new breakthrough in Arabic language education, where participants make spiritual aspects in the learning process not only limited to mere practice, so as to be able to provide and hone their intuitive abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of nahwu and shorof (Arabic grammar and morphology) among eighth-grade students of MTs Swasta Swadaya Batang Serangan Langkat through the implementation of the role-playing learning model. The research used a classroom action research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model and was carried out in two cycles. Data collection instruments included pre-test and post-test, observation sheets, and open interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using a paired t-test, while qualitative data were analyzed using the triangulation technique. The results showed a significant improvement in student achievement. In the first cycle, the average score increased from 54.60 to 71.70 (an increase of 31.32%), and in the second cycle from 69.70 to 83.67 (an increase of 20.04%). Observations and interviews also revealed that students became more confident, active, and accurate in applying Arabic grammatical rules in spoken communication. It can be concluded that the role-playing model is effective in improving students’ understanding of Arabic grammar and morphology in muhadatsah (Arabic conversation) and holds strong potential for application in broader language learning contexts. This study not only contributes practically to the context of Arabic language learning, but also reinforces the position of role-playing as a method that simultaneously addresses the linguistic and psychological aspects of learners. This is in line with Shaftel's theory regarding the importance of social-emotional experiences in meaningful learning processes.

Abstract

Kaligrafi atau khat merupakan penulisan huruf-huruf Arab yang ditulis dengan sentuhan kesenian yang melahirkan keindahan lewat kesenian yang tumpahkan dalamnya. Kaligrafi juga merupakan salah satu wujud seni rupa Islam yang kedatangannya dapat membangkitkan seseorang kepada pedoman dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam ayat Al-Qur’an. Selain itu kaligrafi ini juga sudah sangat terkenal diberbagai negara dengan kekayaan ilmu seni yang terkandung di dalam kaligrafi tersebut.Tujuan dari peneitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Islam memandang seni kaligrafi.Kajian ini bersifat kajian pustaka dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam data-data melalui internet.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan sebanyaknya melalui jurnal dan buku sesuai dengan judul kajian.Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kaligrafi dalam agama Islam adalah seni tertinggi karena memiliki makna dan nilai spiritual keagamaan yang berisikan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang ditulis dengan indah.Karena keistimewaan dari kaligrafi ini memiiki kegunaan dalam segala jenis seperti halnya menghias mesjid (mihrab, mimbar, dinding dan langit-langit), nisan, keramik, rak buku, kaca, dan sebagainya.

خلاصة: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل كيفية إتقان مفردات اللغة العربيةلأجلها مهارة الكلام لطلاب الصف الثامن أ في مدرسة الإحسان الثانوية الإعداديةبمارِيكي. المشكلة التي تحدث حاليًا في الصف الثامن أ بمدرسة الإحسان الثانوية الإعداديةبمارِيكي هي نقص المهارات في اللغة العربية، وخاصة في إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية لطلاب الصف الثامن أ. يحدث هذا بسبب قلة اهتمام الطلاب بدراسة اللغة العربية، وقلة انجذاب الطلاب لدروس اللغة العربية، ونادرة وسائل وبنية تعلم اللغة العربية، وأساليب تدريس اللغة العربية غير المتنوعة، وبيئة التعلم غير الداعمة لتعلم اللغة العربية. المنهج المستخدم في هذه الدراسة هو المنهج الوصفي باستخدام النهج النوعي، ومراجعة الأدبيات والمقابلات. تقنيات جمع البيانات المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة هي الملاحظة، والمقابلات، والتوثيق. المخبرون في هذه الدراسة هم طلاب الصف الثامن أ، ومعلمة دراسات اللغة العربية في الصف الثامن أ، ومدير المدرسة الإحسان الثانوية الإعداديةبمارِيكي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يستخدم الباحثون أيضًا الأطروحات أو الأدبيات على شكل مجلات تُعتبر مناسبة لهذه الدراسة. تُظهر نتائج هذه الدراسة أن العديد من طلاب الصف الثامن أ في مدرسة الإحسان الثانوية الإعداديةبمارِيكي لا يزالون غير قادرين على إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية. وعلى الرغم من وجود عدد قليل من الطلاب الذين يتمكنون من إتقان اللغة العربية، إلا أن هؤلاء الطلاب يعترفون بأنهم أقل اهتمامًا بتعلم اللغة العربية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، بذلت المدرسة جهودًا لجذب الاهتمام وصقل مهارات الطلاب في اللغة العربية. تُظهر هذه الدراسة أيضًا أن هناك علاقة بين الاهتمام والقدرة على إتقان مفردات اللغة العربية لدى طلاب الصف الثامن أ، والتي تدعمها عدة عوامل تعليمية مثل الوسائل والبنية التحتية، وإبداع معلمي المادة في تقديم دروس اللغة العربية. الكلمات المفتاحية: اللغة العربية، مدرسة إعدادية، إتقان المفردات Abstract: This research This research aims to analyze how mastery of Arabic mufrodat is in class VIII A students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-IhsanMaryke. The problem that is currently occurring in class VIII A MTSs Al-IhsanMaryke is the lack of Arabic language skills, especially in mastering the Arabic language of class VIII A students. This occurs due to the lack of interest of students in studying Arabic, lack of interest among students. with Arabic language lessons, limited Arabic language learning facilities and infrastructure, less varied Arabic language learning patterns, and a student learning environment that is less supportive for Arabic language learning. The method used in this research is descriptive using a qualitative approach, literature review and interviews. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this research were students in class VIII A, teachers in the field of Arabic language studies in class VIII A, and the principal of MTSs Al-IhsanMaryke. Apart from that, researchers also use theses or literature in the form of journals which are considered appropriate for this research. The results of this research show that many students in class VIII A at MTSs Al-IhsanMaryke are still unable to master Arabic vocabulary. Even though there are a small number of students who are able to master Arabic, these students admit that they are less interested in learning Arabic. Apart from that, the school has also made efforts to attract interest and hone students' skills in Arabic. This research also shows that there is a relationship between interest and the ability to master Arabic language skills of class VIII A students, which is supported by several learning factors such as facilities and infrastructure, as well as the creativity of study teachers in delivering Arabic language learning. Keywords:Arabic, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Mastery Of Arabic Vocabulary Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana penguasaan mufrodat bahasa arab pada siswa kelas VIII A di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Ihsan Maryke. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini dikelas VIII A MTSs Al-Ihsan Maryke adalah kurangnya kemampuan berbahasa arab terutama pada penguasaan mufrodat bahasa arab siswa/siswi kelas VIII A. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya minat siswa/siswi dalam mempelajari bahasa arab, kurangnya ketertarikan siswa/siswi dengan pelajaran bahasa arab, sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran bahasa arab yang terbatas, pola pembelajaran bahasa arab yang kurang bervariasi, serta lingkungan belajar siswa yang kurang mendukung untuk pembelajaran bahasa arab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan melakukan pendekatan kualitatif, tinjauan pustaka, dan wawancara. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa/siswi kelas VIII A, guru bidang studi bahasa arab kelas VIII A, serta kepala sekolah MTSs Al-Ihsan Maryke. Selain itu, peneliti juga menggunakan Skripsi atau literature berbentuk jurnal yang dianggap sesuai dengan penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa siswa/siswi kelas VIII A di MTSs Al-Ihsan Maryke masih sangat banyak yang kurang mampu dalam menguasai kosa kata bahasa arab. Meskipun ada sebagian kecil siswa yang mampu menguasai bahasa arab, siswa tersebut mengaku kurang berminat dalam mempelajari bahasa arab. Disamping itu, pihak sekolah juga telah melakukan upaya upaya untuk menarik minat serta mengasah kemampuan siswa/siswi dalam berbahasa arab. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan antara minat dengan kemampuan penguasaan mufrodat bahasa arab yang dimiliki oleh siswa/siswi kelas VIII A, yang didukung dengan beberapa faktor pembelajaran seperti sarana dan prasarana, serta kreativitas guru bidang studi dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran bahasa arab.
