Abstract

Abstract. Educational facilities and infrastructure play an important role in achieving an effective learning process. Facilities include equipment and supplies such as tables, chairs and teaching aids, while infrastructure includes supporting facilities such as buildings, laboratories and libraries. The availability of complete educational facilities, such as libraries with diverse book collections and internet access, can increase students' engagement in learning and motivate them to study. The research method used in this study is a literature study, which aims to collect data and information from written sources to build a strong theoretical foundation and strengthen research arguments. Data from BPS and the Ministry of Health show an imbalance in educational facilities and infrastructure between urban and rural areas. In urban areas, 88% of classrooms are in decent condition, while in rural areas only 62%. In addition, 85% of schools in urban areas have internet access, while only 30% in rural areas. Library availability is also much different, with 75% of schools in urban areas having libraries, while in rural areas it is only 45%. Laboratories are available in 60% of urban schools but only 20% in rural areas. In terms of sanitation, 90% of schools in urban areas have proper facilities, while only 50% in rural areas. Various factors such as geography, economy, government policies and cultural aspects contribute to this gap.

Abstract

Abstract. The connection between philosophy and education is deeply intertwined, requiring a study of the relationship and its potential impact. Philosophy offers the theoretical foundation for educational practices and beliefs. This article uses a literature review methodology, drawing from both international and national sources via QuillBot, to explore how philosophical thinking can enhance educational practices. By integrating philosophical concepts into educational settings, educators can empower students to think critically, question assumptions, and make informed decisions. This not only enhances students' academic capabilities but also helps them develop a strong moral compass and social responsibility. Further research opportunities on this topic include examining the long-term effects on students' critical thinking skills, exploring teaching methods that effectively incorporate philosophical concepts into curricula, and investigating the impact of philosophical education on students' personal values and ethical decision-making. Ultimately, embedding philosophy into education has the potential to foster well-rounded, ethically-conscious individuals capable of making thoughtful and responsible choices in a complex world.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif adalah pendekatan yang memastikan setiap anak, tanpa memandang perbedaan fisik, mental, sosial, atau emosional, memiliki kesempatan yang setara untuk belajar bersama di sekolah reguler. Konsep ini bertujuan menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang menghargai keragaman dan memberikan kesempatan yang setara bagi semua anak untuk berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) untuk mengkaji konsep pendidikan inklusif dan sekolah ramah anak serta hubungannya dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang adil dan mendukung perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini juga menemukan berbagai tantangan dalam implementasi pendidikan inklusif, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang kebutuhan ABK, dan resistensi dari masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini menawarkan solusi melalui peningkatan pelatihan guru, pengembangan sarana prasarana yang mendukung, serta kebijakan yang mendorong kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Pemerintah juga memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung kebijakan pendidikan inklusif melalui regulasi yang progresif, pendanaan yang memadai, serta penyediaan fasilitas dan pelatihan yang diperlukan untuk mewujudkan sekolah inklusif yang ramah anak. Dengan pendekatan kolaboratif yang melibatkan semua pihak, pendidikan inklusif diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, nyaman, dan mendukung perkembangan optimal setiap anak.
