Abstract

This empowerment program aims to help the family of Mrs. Lilis Suryani, a single mother with a disabled child, in improving her welfare through a wet cake sales business. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) method which involves students as researchers to gain an in-depth understanding of the social problems faced by the community through a process of identification and partnership with the local community. This activity took place for approximately 2 months in the East Jakarta area, precisely in the Condet area, Kramat Jati District, Balekambang Village. The implementation of the program includes preparation activities, fundraising, purchasing the items needed, handing over business capital assistance, and evaluating activities. The results of this program show an increase in the daily income of Mrs. Lilis's family from an average of Rp. 30,000-40,000 to Rp. 60,000-160,000 per day, as well as the growth of enthusiasm and motivation to continue developing her business. This program emphasizes the importance of community empowerment, especially for poor families who face economic limitations and challenges in caring for children with disabilities. Collaboration between students, communities, and related parties has proven effective in creating solutions that can improve the welfare of poor families and bring positive changes in their lives.

Abstract

:  The water cycle is science material for grade 5 in elementary schools, this lesson is very important because it relates to student experiences or real life. Not a few students have difficulty in learning it. Therefore researchers created Chatbot Rain to develop and produce products that help students better understand concepts and can improve learning outcomes in the process of learning water cycle material. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative which are then converted into a Likert Scale Interpretation table with a range of 5 scales. The research was conducted in several elementary schools with media applications that had been validated by media experts, material experts, and education experts as well as feasibility trials with small and large trials. The validation results of media experts were 88.23%, material experts were 92%, and education experts were 90% while media feasibility tests with large and small trials produced scores of 86.8% and 89.2%. While the effectiveness test obtained a score of 80.71%. Based on the results of these percentages, it can be concluded that the Chatbot Rain media is very feasible and effective to use and develop in the water cycle learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values in fostering ecological awareness in the content of the material presented in the book theme 9 "Kayanya Negeriku" for fourth-grade elementary school. This research approach uses a qualitative literature study. The content of the material analyzed is the preservation of Indonesia's natural resources. The research results almost all of the material can be related to Islamic values or those contained in the Qur'an. The material is delivered in the form of contextual stories that bring students to think logically about facts and phenomena of everyday life. The conclusion of this research is the application of Islamic values in the attitude of growing a sense of love for the environment is very important, especially instilled in elementary school students in the preservation of natural resources. So that students have gratitude and are wise in utilizing nature by Allah's commands in the Qur'an so that it is not just knowledge that is implanted.   Keywords: Integration of Islamic Values, conservation of Natural Resources, Ecological Awareness
