Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of education level on employee performance at the Industry and Trade Service of South Sulawesi Province. The research method used in the study is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The method for collecting data is through observation, questionnaires and documentation with a population of 115 employees and an interesting sample using the slovin formula so that the number of samples obtained is 89 employees with the data analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis processed through the assistance of Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) Software Version 27. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the results of the t-test obtained on the education level variable (X) on employee performance (Y) obtained tcount 8.674> ttable 1.987 with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of the education level variable on employee performance at the Industry and Trade Service of South Sulawesi Province

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the problems found in the joint observation activities of the Garut Regency History MGMP, several priority problems were found that were to the partners' needs, including 1). There are still many history teachers who need to maximize their teacher competencies in learning activities, such as the creation of innovative digital-based learning media as an effort to develop themselves and learning materials; 2). The implementation of differentiated learning carried out by members of the Garut Regency History MGMP still needs to meet the three elements of differentiation, namely differentiation of content, process, and product. This community service activity aims to train history teachers of MGMP Garut Regency in creating innovative learning media based on Smart Apps Creator (Sac) integrated with differentiated learning and gamification. The methods implemented were Observation of problems and interviews of factual conditions with partners of the Garut Regency History MGMP, Socialization & training in developing competencies in understanding, knowledge, and skills of differentiated learning, and Socialization & training in creating integrated Smart Apps Creator (SAC) learning media with gamification and differentiated teaching materials to improve teacher competency.The results of this activity show that the organizational management skills of MGMP History teachers of Garut Regency are 61% to 92%. Meanwhile, the skills of history teachers increased from 61% to 91%. The training activities carried out are a real solution for history teachers to solve their problems.

Abstract

Pada era digital yang semakin maju dan berkembang pesat, keterampilan softskill dan hardskill sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Dalam kaitan itu, esai dapat mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis dan analitis untuk menghadapi dan menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Oleh karena itu, esai sangat penting dibangun dan dibiasakan sejak dini. Artikel ini berisi kegiatan Community Development, yaitu pelatihan esai yang dilanjutkan dengan praktik menulis esai pada pelajar SMP Negeri 3 Turi. Pelatihan melibatkan 6 orang pelajar kelas VIII, 1 orang penanggung jawab ekstrakurikuler jurnalistik, dan 6 pengurus Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Fakultas (UKMF) Penelitian Komunitas Riset dan Penalaran (KRISTAL) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan esai yang belum tentu dipelajari langsung dalam mata pelajaran di sekolah bagi pelajar SMP Negeri 3 Turi; meningkatkan kemampuan pengurus UKMF Penelitian KRISTAL terkait esai dengan cara mengajarkannya; untuk meningkatkan hubungan baik internal maupun eksternal, dan sebagai wujud nyata rasa syukur pengurus UKMF Penelitian KRISTAL kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dalam rangka hari jadi ke-12 tahun UKMF Penelitian KRISTAL FEB UNY. Terdapat lima tahapan yang dilakukan oleh perwakilan pengurus UKMF Penelitian KRISTAL untuk melaksanakan pelatihan esai bagi pelajar SMPN 3 Turi, yaitu observasi, perencanaan kegiatan pelatihan esai, perizinan, studi literatur dan pembuatan materi, serta tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan esai. Hasil kegiatan Community Development adalah peningkatan pemahaman esai bagi pelajar SMPN 3 Turi baik secara teori maupun praktik. Hal ini sangat bermanfaat dan mendapatkan respon yang baik serta partisipasi aktif dari pihak sekolah. Dengan pencapaian ini, diharapkan kegiatan serupa dapat terus dikembangkan untuk memperluas dampak positif pada pendidikan khususnya di SMP Negeri 3 Turi dan di Indonesia umumnya.

Abstract

This paper examines the integration of community service through an International Internship Program (KKN Internasional) at Universitas Muhammadiyah, aimed at introducing and teaching the values of Pancasila to Indonesian migrant children at Sanggar Belajar Sri Muda and Sanggar Belajar Kuala Langat in Malaysia. The study assesses the program's goals, methodologies, challenges, and the impact of the intervention on both the students and the community. Through participatory teaching methods and cultural exchange, the project highlights the importance of character education and intercultural communication in international service learning. Despite challenges such as resource limitations and cultural differences, the program successfully contributed to the community and enriched the participants' educational and personal growth. The findings suggest that such international community service programs play a vital role in fostering cross-cultural understanding and promoting national identity abroad.
