Abstract

ABSTRACTThere are three types of teacher activities that can be used with the independent learning platform, namely teaching, learning, and creating. These three activities can make the teacher a driving teacher. Based on PISA 2018, Indonesia occupies the top five positions from the bottom regarding language literacy, mathematics/numeration, and science. With the facts from the OECD, it indicates that there are problems that need to be resolved. Problems are not only in students, but also teachers and teaching materials developed. The results of Alfarisi, et al (2020) research show that the literacy level of students is still low because teachers are still unable to develop their potential in developing literacy and numeracy teaching materials. With the independent learning platform, it is hoped that it will become one of the teacher's facilities for learning and creating. Developing literacy and numeracy teaching materials cannot be separated from contextual objects, one of which is ethnomathematics. Teachers in the period of independent learning must be able to develop teaching materials that can be used to share materials with other teachers. Problems with teachers in the KKG Panti sub-district, Jember district include 1) developing ethnomathematics-based literacy and numeracy teaching materials, 2) compiling e-portfolios, and 3) there are no prospective driving teachers. One of the solutions offered is training and assistance in the preparation of teaching materials and e-portfolios. Based on these problems, the service team plans activities starting from training in preparing literacy and numeracy teaching materials based on local wisdom, assisting in the preparation of portfolios for prospective driving teachers, and the final evaluation regarding the development of teaching materials and portfolios.Keywords: Literacy, Numeracy, Ethnomatematics, Teaching Materials, MathematicsABSTRAKTerdapat tiga jenis kegiatan guru yang dapat digunakan dengan platform merdeka belajar yaitu mengajar, belajar, dan berkarya. Tiga kegiatan tersebut dapat menjadikan guru sebagai guru penggerak. Berdasarkan PISA 2018, Indonesia menempati posisi lima besar dari bawah terkait literasi Bahasa, matematika/numerasi, dan IPA. Dengan adanya fakta dari OECD, menandakan bahwa terdapat permasalahan yang perlu diselesakian. Permasalahan tidak hanya di siswa, tetapi juga guru dan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian Alfarisi, dkk (2020) bahwa tingkat literasi siswa masih rendah disebabkan oleh guru masih belum bisa mengembangkan potensi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar literasi dan numerasi. Dengan adanya platform merdeka belajar diharapkan menjadikan salah satu fasilitas guru untuk belajar dan berkarya. Mengembangkan bahan ajar literasi dan numerasi tidak lepas dari objek kontekstual, salah satu objek kontekstual yaitu ethnomatematika. Guru di masa merdeka belajar harus dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan bahan berbagi dengan guru yang lain. Permasalahan guru di KKG kecamatan Panti kabupaten Jember meliputi 1) pengembangan bahan ajar literasi dan numerasi berbasis ethnomatematika, 2) penyusunan e-portofolio, dan 3) belum ada calon guru penggerak. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar dan e-portofolio. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdi merencanakan kegiatan dimulai dari pelatihan penyusunan bahan ajar literasi dan numerasi berbsasis local wisdom, pendampingan penyusunan portofolio bagi calon guru penggerak, dan evaluasi akhir terkait pengembangan bahan ajar dan portofolio.Kata Kunci : Literasi, Numerasi, Ethnomatematika, Bahan Ajar, Matematika

Abstract

Moderasi Beragama dapat dipahami sebagai cara pandang, sikap, dan perilaku selalu mengambil posisi di tengah-tengah, selalu bertindak adil, dan tidak ekstrem dalam beragama. Kampus adalah lingkungan yang sangat heterogen, lebih-lebih Universitas Jember dengan jumlah Mahasiwa ± 40.000 yang datang dari berbagai daerah dengan latar belakang Agama dan Suku yang berbeda-beda. Kenyataan akan keragaman ini harus dikelola dengan baik. Mahasiswa harus kita kenalkan dengan Moderasi Beragama yang muatannya adalah komitmen kebangsaan; toleransi; anti-kekerasan; dan akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal, agar tercipta suasana yang rukun dan saling menghargai di tengah-tengah keragaman di lingkungan kampus. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiwa tentang moderasi beragama, yaitu memberikan pemahaman tentang cara pandang yang moderat di dalam beragama. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan kepada 307 mahasiwa yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Universitas Jember dengan memberikan edukasi dan diskusi seputar moderasi bergama melalui kuliah umum. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara mengukur pengetahuan mahasiwa melalui pre-test dan pos-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiwa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan 20% mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan kurang tentang moderasi beragama, 45% memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan 35% memiliki pengetahuan baik. Setelah dilakukan kuliah umum moderasi beragama terjadi perubahan pengetahuan yaitu 4% memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 12% memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan 84% memiliki pengetahuan baik. Kuliah umum moderasi beragama, terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiwa tentang moderasi beragama.

Abstract

Background: The rate of child marriage in Jember Regency, particularly in Sumberkejayan Village, remains high and continues to negatively affect children’s physical, psychological, social, and economic well-being. Comprehensive reproductive health education from the elementary level is crucial; however, teachers often face limitations in delivering this material through engaging and context-appropriate media. Objective: This program aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of interactive learning media using Articulate Storyline to improve elementary students’ understanding of reproductive health and to strengthen teachers’ competence. Method: The program employed a Research and Development (R&D) design following the ADDIE model. A total of 112 students from four elementary schools in Sumberkejayan Village participated. The instrument consisted of 10 Likert-scale items (1–5) administered as pre- and post-tests, and the results were analyzed using the N-gain score. Results: The effectiveness test yielded an average N-gain score of 0.66 (moderate category), demonstrating a significant improvement in students’ understanding. Teachers also reported increased competence in developing and applying interactive media. Conclusion: The use of Articulate Storyline proved effective as a technology-based tool for reproductive health education in elementary schools and enhanced teachers’ pedagogical competence. This program offers a preventive and educational strategy to help reduce the incidence of child marriage through innovative, interactive learning.

Abstract

The Religious Moderation Program is a key policy of the Indonesian government, mainstreamed through the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024. This program aims to foster attitudes of balance, tolerance, and the prevention of extremism in order to reduce religion-based conflicts. However, the implementation of this program often faces substantive challenges, marked by social tensions and criticism that the policy remains largely rhetorical and top-down, lacking genuine effectiveness at the grassroots level. This study aims to objectively analyze the factors contributing to this gap and to formulate constructive recommendations for improving policy governance. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method based on literature study, reviewing reputable academic journals through the theoretical framework of policy implementation by Mazmanian and Sabatier, as well as Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The evaluation results reveal three main areas that hinder the program’s impact: 1) Managerial Governance Challenges, where the top-down approach, dualism of programs (the Religious Moderation Village Program and the Religious Harmony-Conscious Village Program), and limited public participation constrain operational effectiveness, as analyzed through the Mazmanian–Sabatier framework. 2) Discourse Communication Dilemmas, where the policy texts are prone to interpretation (through CDA) as carrying hidden ideological agendas that potentially marginalize conservative religious views, thus triggering ideological resistance that requires careful management. 3) Lack of a Holistic Policy Priority, referring to the tendency to overemphasize “harmony” while failing to prioritize Freedom of Religion and Belief (FORB) as a central agenda. This study recommends adaptive governance reform, strengthened inter-agency coordination, and the reaffirmation of Religious Moderation as a constitutional guarantee of Freedom of Religion and Belief, to ensure a more sustainable and inclusive impact.
