Politics is a calling for the church to be involved in it. It is normal for the church to support its members to enter politics, but it is somewhat ambiguous if a pastor or servant of God enters practical politics. It is therefore difficult to see the limits of who can be involved in practical politics in the church. The purpose of writing this article is to answer the main problem in this article, namely to what extent can servants of God be involved in practical politics? What is the analysis from the perspective of Christian ethics regarding the involvement of God's servants and practical politics? The method used in this article is a descriptive qualitative method, where in the process the researcher uses a library approach, namely by examining several reference sources including books, journals and other relevant sources. The result of this research is that the church is called to be the salt and light of the world, one of which is to enter the world of politics. The church is called to be involved in welfare and upholding justice in society. Servants of God who want to get involved in practical politics must be very careful because of the various challenges that await them in the arena of political battle. The urgency of the ministry of God's servants is more inclined to serve the congregation. By serving the congregation, God's servants are expected to be able to guide and provide correct direction regarding practical politics, how the congregation should be involved in it. This is in accordance with the vocation of God's servants in general who are called to serve the congregation.
