Abstract

Surfactant waste produced by detergents with chemicals causes water and soil to be polluted. Water as a vital human need must be saved from pollution by waste, so it is necessary to find innovations in the use of laundry detergents using environmentally friendly materials. This study conducted experiments using 3 kinds of detergents, namely: 1) A. MES and SEE, 2) B. MES and EE, and 3) C. MES and Chemistry. Experiments on the use of detergents with respondents of AAL Community Service Assistance residents in Pesapen Surabaya. There are 5 criteria for assessing and selecting detergent, namely: 1) cleaning power, 2) softness of clothing, 3) Effect on color, 4) power to kill bacteria, and 5) the cost of purchasing detergent manufacturing materials. In analyzing the 3 criteria 1), 2) and 3) using hierarchical process analysis, criterion 5) is calculated by comparing the manufacturing costs incurred. As for criterion 4), laboratory tests will be carried out as the next research step. The results of the AHP of the best-selected detergent are A. MES and SEE. Given that SEE is an EE whose fermentation is at least 6 months, it is recommended to use SEE for the manufacture of detergent.

Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between stock fundamental analysis and investment decision-making among investors in the dynamic Indonesian stock market. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative analyses of survey data and financial indicators with qualitative insights from interviews and focus group discussions. The findings reveal a significant prevalence of fundamental analysis among investors, with 75% actively incorporating it into their strategies. Subgroup analysis indicates varying utilization rates among individual retail investors (70%), institutional investors (80%), and analysts (85%). Regression analysis establishes a statistically significant positive correlation (β = 0.25, p < 0.05) between the application of fundamental analysis and investment success, with an adjusted R-squared of 0.48. The study identifies key market factors—regulatory changes, economic indicators, and market volatility—that influence the effectiveness of fundamental analysis. The qualitative analysis underscores nuanced investor perceptions and behavioral factors, contributing depth and context to the quantitative correlations. The integrated findings offer valuable insights for investors and policymakers, suggesting implications for informed decision-making and regulatory considerations in the Indonesian stock market.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of technology-based learning media in social studies education, focusing on its influence on character education. The primary aim is to explore how digital tools and platforms can enhance the teaching and learning process, promoting values such as responsibility, empathy, and civic engagement among students. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the research combines qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys to assess the effectiveness of technology in character education. The study includes 500 middle and high school students from diverse geographical locations, selected based on their schools' adoption of technology in the social studies curriculum. Preliminary findings suggest that the integration of technology significantly improves student engagement and the internalization of character values. However, challenges such as the digital divide, which can exacerbate educational inequalities, and the need for comprehensive teacher training to effectively use these tools, were identified. To mitigate these issues, the study recommends implementing policies to ensure equitable access to technology and developing robust professional development programs for educators. In conclusion, while digital tools have the potential to revolutionize character education in social studies, addressing the identified challenges is crucial for maximizing their benefits. The research underscores the necessity for a more inclusive approach to technology access and enhanced teacher training to fully realize the advantages of technology-based learning media.
