Abstract

STEAM can be formed in several ways, one of which is through the process of learning mathematics. The purpose of the blibiometric analysis is to see the development of research trends related to STEAM in mathematics learning based on VOS Viewers. The data collection technique is by searching using Google Scholar using the keyword STEAM in learning mathematics based on 2010 to 2023, there are 1000 articles or journals. Visualization in analysis on vov viewers can be seen in the form of network visualization, overlay visualization and density visualization. Network visualization maps are used to see linkages and research theme clusters related to keywords. Ovelay Visualization is used to identify the year in which the related research theme was carried out. Meanwhile, density visualization is used to analyze research themes that are already saturated and are still rarely researched

Abstract

This study was motivated by limited comprehension of mathematical concepts among students in mathematics. One potential solution is implementing the small group discussion learning method. The objective of this study is to ascertain the efficacy of the acquisition of small-group discussion methods in mathematics subjects on students' comprehension of mathematical concepts. This form of research is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples in this study were class , which consisted of 27 students as the experimental class, and , which consisted of 28 students as the control class, selected using Simple Random Sampling. The t-test results indicated a substantial difference in the comprehension of mathematical concepts between the experimental and control class students. Consequently, H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. It can be concluded that the small group discussion method is more effective than conventional learning in enhancing students' comprehension of mathematical concepts. The small group discussion method effectively enhances students' comprehension of concepts by involving them directly in the learning process. The small group discussion method has the potential to enhance students' comprehension of concepts, as demonstrated by the empirical findings of this study. Thus, this study suggests that this method is an effective teacher learning strategy.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengkaji kembali terkait pengaruh model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking Skill). Model Problem Based Learning merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang menyajikan suatu permasalahan untuk dipecahkan atau diselesaikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu meta analisis. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 10 artikel dengan sampel jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 1 artikel, Sekolah Menengah Pertama sebanyak 6 artikel, Sekolah Menengah Atas sebanyak 3 artikel yang terdapat pada jurnal pendidikan matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah non tes dengan cara menelusuri artikel yang terdapat dalam jurnal online dengan menggunakan Google Cendekia atau Google Schoolar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian iini adalah Effect size. Hasil penelitian meta analisis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa memiliki Effect Size dengan kriteria tinggi dan bila dicari rata –rata dari model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning maka nilai rata-rata Effect Size = 1.47 (efek tinggi).
