Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah menentukan strategi memilih jurusan kuliah dan persiapan menghadapi dunia kerja. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P2M) merupakan pelaksanaan Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi yang diserukan oleh pemerintah (Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat), serta sebagai salah satu implementasi pengabdian pada masyarakat sebagai wujud pembuktian ilmu dan keterampilan yang dimiliki. Pelaksanaan P2M 2024 pada Maret 2024 adalah pelatihan tentang tips and tricks untuk memilih jurusan yang tepat di perguruan tinggi dan persiapan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja dan pelaksanaannya dilakukan secara tatap muka.  Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bekerjasama dengan mitra abdimas SMKN 16 Jakarta. Memilih jurusan kuliah adalah keputusan penting yang bisa memengaruhi masa depan peserta didik. Sehingga diperlukannya strategi untuk membantu peminatan para peserta didik. Diantaranya strategi tersebut adalah mengenali minat dan bakat peserta didik, melakukan penelitian, mengevaluasi keterkaitan dengan peluang karir, merujuk peminatan peserta didik. Persiapan untuk memasuki dunia kerja bisa menjadi proses yang menantang, sehingga perlu adanya langkah-langkah tepat dalam mempersiapkan diri dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed the retail industry, necessitating a data-driven approach for companies. PT XYZ, an accessories company, currently faces challenges in its manual and inefficient product data management system. This research aims to design and develop an integrated, efficient product data collection information system. Using Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a design tool, the system incorporates three primary actors: admin, staff, and owner. The system is built using the Next.js framework. Through qualitative data collection (observations and interviews) and a literature review, this research identified key issues within the existing system: difficulty in data retrieval and inefficient business processes. The proposed information system seeks to address these challenges through automated data scanning and comprehensive report generation. It is anticipated that this system will enhance productivity, improve data accuracy, and facilitate better decision-making at PT XYZ

Abstract

An IT Helpdesk system is a system designed to help an organization or company that aims to handle technician support requests from users. This system also aims to speed up and make it easier to solve a problem as well as increase the efficiency of support from technicians, reduce problem resolution time, and increase user satisfaction. But this is not the case with Yayasan Adikara Intention Regina Pacis Jakarta, where in overcoming a problem in submitting damage or repairs made by users to the IT (information and technology) team has not been able to work efficiently, resulting in dissatisfaction from users

Abstract

The importance of employee health in an industrial environment has prompted companies to focus on employee well-being to increase productivity and reduce maintenance costs. However, many companies still face challenges in managing employee health effectively. In this article, we propose solutions through the development of health monitoring systems based on information and communication technology. This system provides benefits not only for employees but also for companies in the analysis and planning of interventions to improve overall employee health and productivity.
