Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Phenomenon of Elderly Street Vendors in the Clock Tower Tourist Area of Bukittinggi City". The aim of this research is to describe the views of the public and tourists towards elderly street vendors, the factors behind elderly street vendors continuing to choose to trade in the Jam Gadang tourist area of Bukittinggi City. The theory used in this thesis is the phenomenological theory of Edmund Husserl. The method used by the author is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. The findings from this research are that the factors behind the elderly continuing to choose to trade in the Jam Gadang tourist area are economic factors, social factors and health factors. The views of the public and tourists towards these elderly street vendors do not have a problem with the existence of the traders and some tourists also feel respect for the existence of these elderly street vendors.

Abstract

Anemia remains a significant issue during pregnancy. According to data from the Department of Health, Lima Puluh Kota District in 2022, out of 7,847 pregnant women, 1,362 (17.35%) were diagnosed with anemia. This study aims to determine the effect of education on anemia and the use of blood supplement tablet consumption control cards (TTD) on pregnant women's knowledge. This study used a pre-experimental design with a pretest and posttest one-group design. The research was conducted at Puskesmas Pakan Rabaa from October to November 2024. The population of the study consisted of all pregnant women in their first trimester in the working area of Puskesmas Pakan Rabaa from May to July, totaling 120 women, with a sample size of 32. Sampling was done using purposive sampling. After data collection, data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using paired t-test. The results showed that the average knowledge of pregnant women before the education on anemia and the use of blood supplement tablet consumption control cards was 14.78 with a standard deviation of 2.802, and after the education, it increased to 25.44 with a standard deviation of 2.961. The statistical test revealed a significant effect of education on anemia and the use of blood supplement tablet consumption control cards (TTD) on pregnant women's knowledge with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The conclusion is that there is a significant effect of education on anemia and the use of blood supplement tablet consumption control cards (TTD) on pregnant women's knowledge. It is recommended that healthcare providers regularly deliver health education to enhance pregnant women's knowledge about anemia and the use of blood supplement tablet consumption control cards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi untuk menggali secara lengkap isi buku Bahasa Indonesia kelas V SD pada Bab IV berjudul “Belajar Berwirausaha”. Bab ini memuat materi kewirausahaan dalam bentuk bacaan, latihan kebahasaan, dan kegiatan literasi. Karena pentingnya peran bab ini dalam membentuk karakter dan keterampilan siswa, diperlukan analisis mendalam berdasarkan standar kelayakan buku teks menurut BSNP.Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan isi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikaan pada subbab tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif.Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami makna secara mendalam dalam konteks alaminya. Data diperoleh melalui studi dokumen menggunakan instrumen penilaian BSNP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subbab “Belajar Berwirausaha” tergolong cukup layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Dari segi isi, materi sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar dan relevan dengan kehidupan siswa, namun penguatan nilai kewirausahaan masih diperlukan. Bahasa yang digunakan komunikatif dan sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan siswa, walau terdapat beberapa istilah yang sebaiknya disederhanakan.Penyajian materi cukup sistematis, tetapi belum sepenuhnya mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dalam kegiatan belajar. Dari aspek kegrafikaan, ilustrasi dan tampilan visual cukup menarik, namun kontras dan tata letak perlu ditingkatkan agar lebih nyaman dibaca. Simpulannya, subbab “Belajar Berwirausaha” secara umum layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, namun revisi pada aspek isi dan penyajian masih diperlukan agar nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dapat disampaikan secara lebih kontekstual dan bermakna.
