Abstract

In elementary education, enhancing student engagement and optimizing learning outcomes are paramount. This research investigates strategies to achieve these goals, exploring pedagogical approaches, classroom practices, and technology integration methods. A qualitative literature review analyzed peer-reviewed studies and empirical research, using the socio-ecological model to understand the factors influencing student engagement. Inquiry-based and project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and technology integration were identified as effective methods for fostering active participation and personalized learning. The study highlights the importance of supportive learning environments with positive teacher-student relationships and peer collaboration. SPSS software was used for quantitative analysis in studies providing statistical data on student engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This paper explores the transformative impact of blockchain technology on the agricultural sector, presenting a comprehensive analysis of its multifaceted benefits for farming practices and supply chains. The decentralized ledger system of blockchain is examined in the context of addressing challenges and unlocking new opportunities for stakeholders. Key areas of focus include increasing trust between parties through reliable information about farms, inventories, and contracts; facilitating seamless information sharing across the supply chain by enabling traceability from farm to fork; significantly reducing agricultural transaction costs through intermediary elimination and process automation; simplifying all stages of the agricultural supply chain via streamlined documentation, verification, and quality control; and improving food safety while eliminating counterfeit items through blockchain's capability to ensure authenticity, origin, and quality. This exploration underscores the potential for blockchain to enhance transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in agriculture, thereby reshaping the future of the industry.

Abstract

This research delves into whether employees prioritize workplace respect or Pay Satisfaction for their commitment to an organization, focusing specifically on the service sector, notably the banking industry. The overarching goal is to discern the determinants influencing employees' decisions to remain loyal to their current position or explore alternative job opportunities. Employing a cross-sectional, causal, and quantitative approach, primary data was collected through a structured and close-ended questionnaire targeting banking sector staff. The study revealed that employees exhibit divergent preferences, with some valuing respect at the workplace more than others. While pay satisfaction was identified as a correlated factor in employee commitment, the emphasis on workplace respect was notably higher. The research employed regression analysis to dissect the nuances of these preferences within different employee groups, shedding light on the varying intensities associated with each choice.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has markedly impacted mental health worldwide, with social isolation being a significant factor contributing to increased anxiety and depression. This research explores the psychological effects of prolonged social isolation during and after the pandemic. The study aims to assess the prevalence of anxiety and depression, identify associated risk factors, and propose effective interventions. The hypothesis posits that increased social isolation correlates with heightened levels of anxiety and depression. The population for this study includes adults aged 18-65 from both urban and rural areas. 500 participants were selected using stratified random sampling to ensure a diverse demographic representation. This cross-sectional study adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Data collection tools include the Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) scale and the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), along with semi-structured interview guides. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as regression analysis, while qualitative data were undergone thematic analysis. The results offer insights into the mental health challenges posed by social isolation and suggest evidence-based solutions to mitigate these effects.
