Abstract

The purpose and objective of this study is to analyze the effect of functional promotion services on the satisfaction of lecturers at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Exogenous attributes are based on service theory, which consists of the following attributes: reliability, assurance, tangible, empathy, and responsiveness. After testing the path analysis, the results showed that the total influence of the reliability, assurance, and tangibility attributes on lecturer satisfaction obtained a value of 0.742. These results indicate that the attributes of reliability, assurance, and tangibility have a strong and significant effect on the attributes of lecturer satisfaction. Meanwhile, the results obtained showed that the reliability, assurance, and tangibility attributes on the empathy attribute obtained a total influence value of 0.703. That is, the three attributes have a strong and significant effect on lecturer satisfaction. In addition, the results obtained show that the reliability, assurance, and tangibility attributes have a total effect of 0.634 responsiveness attributes. These results indicate that the reliability, assurance, and tangibility attributes have a strong and significant effect on the responsiveness attribute. Measurement of empathy and responsiveness attributes to satisfaction in total obtained a value of 0.723. These results mean that the attributes of empathy and responsiveness have a strong and significant effect on the attributes of lecturer satisfaction in the process of managing their functional positions.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa internet telah menjadi kebutuhan esensial, terutama di lingkungan kerja dan pendidikan. SMKN 1 Al Mubarkeya, sebagai institusi pendidikan dengan aktivitas internet yang tinggi, menghadapi masalah ketidakstabilan dan lambatnya koneksi internet, terutama pada saat jam kerja dan belajar. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyaknya pengguna yang mengakses internet secara bersamaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan manajemen bandwidth yang efektif untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan jaringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan parameter Quality of Service (QoS) seperti throughput, delay, dan packet loss antara metode simple queue dan queue tree yang diterapkan pada mikrotik di SMKN 1 Al Mubarkeya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode queue tree lebih efektif untuk diterapkan dibandingkan simple queue. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi sekolah dalam mengatasi permasalahan manajemen jaringan yang ada.Kata kunci: Mikrotik, Manajemen Bandwidth, Simple Queue, Queue Tree. Abstract - This research is based on the fact that the internet has become an essential need, especially in work and educational environments. SMKN 1 Al Mubarkeya, as an educational institution with high internet activity, faces issues of unstable and slow internet connections, particularly during working and learning hours. This is due to the high number of users accessing the internet simultaneously. Therefore, effective bandwidth management is needed to optimize network usage. This study aims to compare Quality of Service (QoS) parameters such as throughput, delay, and packet loss between the simple queue and queue tree methods implemented on Mikrotik at SMKN 1 Al Mubarkeya. The results of the study show that the queue tree method is more effective to implement compared to the simple queue. This research is expected to provide a solution for the school in addressing existing network management issues.Keywords: Mikrotik, Bandwidth Management, Simple Queue, Queue Tree
