Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana transfer ilmu pengetahuan tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme untuk mempersiapkan individu menghadapi tantangan kehidupan dan berkontribusi secara positif kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V SDI Sinde Kabor karena terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA. Siswa mengalami kesulitan karena materi IPA yang diajarkan terlalu luas dan cenderung berfokus pada hafalan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan siswa kurang memahami konsep dasar yang penting dalam IPA, sehingga hasil belajar mereka tidak optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPA, dan salah satu model yang diterapkan adalah Snowball Throwing. Dengan menerapkan model Snowball Throwing, hasil belajar siswa dalam kompetensi pengetahuan (KI-3) dan keterampilan (KI-4) pada pembelajaran IPA menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Model pembelajaran ini mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dan terlibat dalam proses belajar, serta meningkatkan kolaborasi antar siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut terbukti dari evaluasi yang dilakukan pada setiap siklus pembelajaran, dimana terjadi peningkatan pada kedua kompetensi tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kolaboratif dapat membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the character values contained in the traditional Togo Pou dance of the Palue ethnic group and to examine the potential aspects of Science Education (IPA) that can be derived from the movements of the dance. Togo Pou is a traditional dance from the Palue ethnic group in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, which reflects the behavior patterns of the community through dance movements accompanied by gong and drum music. Each dance movement mirrors the meaning contained in the lyrics of the song, which invites the community to work together on tasks that cannot be done alone, such as building a boat. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The collected data is analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this research are the people of Dusun Lomite Bhako and traditional leaders who have a deep understanding of the meaning of the dance. The findings show that the Togo Pou dance contains character values such as religiosity, love for peace, social care, and friendliness and communication. The conclusion of this study is that this dance is not only a cultural heritage but also serves as a means to teach character values and Science Education, such as balance and coordination, which are beneficial in elementary school education.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the principal's spiritual leadership on the personal formation of teachers and strengthening the character of elementary school students. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature study. The results of this research show that school principals who are imbued with the spiritual leadership model have a positive influence on the personal formation of teachers and strengthening the character of elementary school students.

Model pembelajaran ini mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dan terlibat dalam proses belajar, serta meningkatkan kolaborasi antar siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut terbukti dari evaluasi yang dilakukan pada setiap siklus pembelajaran, dimana terjadi peningkatan pada kedua kompetensi tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kolaboratif dapat membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka.
