Abstract

Integrated Islamic Schools have great potential to become superior educational institutions. This article discusses strategies and programs to improve the quality of education in Integrated Islamic Schools, including: Improving the quality of the curriculum, teachers and learning environment, strengthening competitiveness, increasing accountability and transparency, building a culture of quality, increasing efficiency and effectiveness. The implementation of these strategies and programs must be adapted to the conditions of each Integrated Islamic School. Commitment and cooperation from all parties is required, as well as involving external parties if necessary. With continued efforts, Integrated Islamic Schools can become quality educational institutions and provide benefits to society.

Abstract

The National Local Content curriculum, which is centered on Islamic education and consists of the National curriculum, the Islamic education curriculum, the scouting curriculum, and the skills curriculum, is integrated with the curriculum through the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT). The purpose of this research is to describe how the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT) curriculum is implemented at SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri, Magelang City, as it is realized in the school program, and to identify the factors that facilitate and hinder this implementation. This study is using a qualitative research design. The primary data sources were gathered through observation, documentation, and interviews.
